"...going nowhere. Somebody help me, somebody help me yeah."

Ah-ha-ha-ha, (defense is trying to) stay[ing] alive.

i am quite distracted by whoever keeps clearing their throat or coughing once - almost like a tick? I cannot tell if it is the defense attorney, but keep waiting for it to happen again. Cough drops might be useful...

Witness says got text from TM at 3:10 saying "home". Kids went home at that point.

ETA: Ashley would let kids out of front door and lock it. She can see TM's driveway from that vantage point.

Now, now. Don't testify on your mom's behalf. :D
No worries there...once she called me for bail and I told her to sit in there and think over what she had done.

Although it was payback for when I was 19 and she told me the same thing.

Caison says on Dec 17th the Moorer children stayed with her. She said Tammy was working with Sidney that night. Said Tammy texted her that night when she got home and the kids went back home. Around 3:10 am.

Just as well this is boring because my cat (yes a cat) is currently throwing a temper tantrum, wanting my undivided attention.

I missed all the earlier drama and read about it here. Thanks for the updates to all those who posted.

Defense now suggesting there are cameras located at an electrical plant (?) across the road from the Caison/Moorer compound. State objected and mentioned having brought someone from Horry Electric previously (Sidney's trial?) who conflicted that information.

Yup, NO cameras!

Sidney Moorer on trial for the kidnapping of Heather Elvis - June 22, 2016

New witness on the stand, man from Electric Company. Says that they have a sub station right next to (across the street) SM house, knows who SM is.

Prior to Dec 18, 2013 The sub station had installed some camera housings to deter thieves but there were no cameras installed. The housings did not have any way to record anything, just an empty box. (my term- a prop)

Prior to Dec 18, there were no cameras put up at the sub station. SM never contacted the electric company asking for footage. No more questions from State, Defense has no questions.

I keep wondering if it's SM's attorney (Kirk Truslow). He has a throat-clearing tic. Has anyone seen him today?

Hahaha! Sweet revenge.

Ashley Caison says the night of Dec. 17/morning of Dec. 18 she got a text from Tammy that she got home around 3:10 in the morning after going to work with Sidney.

Ashley says on Dec. 18 Tammy sent her a message saying "home" at about 3:10 a.m. and sent the Moorer's children, who were staying with Ashley nearby, home.

Caison said the Moorer children were home schooled. Said it wasn't unusual for them to stay up late. #TammyMoorerTrial

(I totally thought he was going to ask if she saw the black truck)

Now switches to talking about tattoo. Says she was with them when Sidney got it. A friend's husband did the tattoo (he does NOT work at a tattoo parlor). OMG -- hope they were dirty needles ;)

SO wait, they live right next door but yet Tammy would wake the kids at 3am to come back to their house so they could get their homeschooling day started early? Is this for real?

But Sid was going to Walmart for a stogie and pregnancy test and using a pay phone, where was Tam then?

AC's friend's husband gave SM his tattoo. She and TM were there when he got the tattoo. That's not creepy at all. I can't imagine being with my brother-n-law while he was getting that area of his body tattooed. Bleh.

On Thursday, the defense will begin presenting their case, and Tammy Moorer is expected to take the stand and testify in her own defense. This almost took place on Wednesday, but court ended early so she will likely begin her testimony Thursday morning.

There appears to be more people in the courtroom today.

Ashley says her friends husband gave Sidney the tattoo and Ashley and Tammy were there when Sidney got it. She says he doesn't have a license but has the basic equipment to give a tattoo.

Caison says she was with Tammy and Sidney when Sidney got the tattoo with Tammy's name on it. Says her friend's husband did it. He is not a professional tattoo artist not does he have a license, but Ashley says he has the basic tattoo equipment. #TammyMoorerTrial

I'm sorry -- if Sidney was working that night (and Tammy supposedly went with him) why does the defense not call the restaurant where he supposedly was working to corroborate? Mmm, thought so.
