GUILTY - Tammy Moorer trial for Kidnapping Heather Elvis, 8 Oct 2018 - #9

Since it's nonsensical that all these calls and GPS data are made moot by a coincidental kidnapping (and killing) of Heather by another person altogether, what then punctuates NL's closing - in a simple concise single sentence - is the instruction that if the jury believes that TM and SM were the reason Heather was moving around that morning, then TM must be found guilty.

I rewatched the state's closing (so so good). What was that blue box that NL was holding at the end of her part 1 closing?

It was a square box with a round peg!

I had a direct view of TM's face during the entire closing statement. She just maintained her "pissed off" attitude mask.

Heather's family got very emotional during the closing. I sat directly behind them and it was heartbreaking to watch.

Finally had a chance to sit down and listen again to closing.. I now see why NL finished cross so quickly. She knew she wasn't getting any where with TM. TM was refusing to answer questions, she was hostile, and rude. NL gave her just enough stage, that she was able to show the jurors just who TM was.. What her attitude was. Really loved that closing statement. It was so powerful.. gave me the chills. She laid it all out, clearly and concisely. She deserves a raise after that!

I have complete faith in the jurors for this. After a previous poster saying some were crying and tearing.. I truly hope this gives sweet Heather the justice she deserves.. I hope the full moon is a sign. Heather is letting us know she is here, and she is watching.

Tammy's neck is turning red and she's swallowing hard. Hope she's feeling fear.

I saw this as well while watching her during the closing. I thought that she was struggling not to cry. Cry for herself of course.

The jury never got to deliberate today. Judge directed jury not to start deliberation until all exhibits were in the room. Jury sent a note to the judge before this could be done to say that they wanted to start deliberating tomorrow morning.

Much longer than Sidney's. His was 10 yrs, but will end up at 1 or 2 yrs in prison only, at the point he gets paroled.

She could be sent away for 30 yrs, but would she actually serve the whole thing? Probably not....?

I’m not exactly sure but I think it was when she started talking about the watching a horror movie ...not exactly then, but pretty close. Lonetraveler May remember better than me- I sat where I did in the afternoon just so I could see them better and I was crying...so I lost track of each juror and when they did what. I do remember exactly which ones were crying with me though.

I looked at the big bright moon tonight and thought of Heather. Even if they don’t know her nickname, they will hopefully remember those Google searches & the fact that it was a full moon that night.

He put something into evidence that has other information on it that is not in evidence! That’s why the Jury cannot deliberate until tomorrow.
Hope the State makes him recreate it WITHOUT the erroneous information that he put in along with admitted evidence.
Also hope they go through everything line by line!

The jury decided on their own they didn’t want to deliberate until tomorrow. What he mentioned the judge understood and had them come up so they could straighten it all out.

But yea I agree with you hope they make sure it’s right.

Probably had some of tammy's evidence papers, and got them mixed up with the real evidence.
