FWIW, The song, Paint it Black was not about the Vietnam war (Stones fan). It is about death though. At any rate a 3:47 second video... If anyone on here would like to know more about the Vietnam War, read the book I mentioned upthread, or purchase this;

For those that were too young or were not born, here is the history of this most powerful song.

It was used in many films about Vietnam. It resonates with Vietnam vets because of the depression many suffer.

I think this color stereotyping also reinforces the idea that women are powerless . It is a part of the fear driven society cleverly used by the NRA to sell guns.
