Kant, I can't speak for anyone else but here are my thoughts concerning the who when and where...
LE did state at one point they found no evidence of a crime being committed at 202 Green Lane.. They also stated they didn't know where the crime was comitted or what time it happened IF there was a crime committed..
When Sheriff declared this case a homicide, he was asked IF he thought the crime was committed in the Shell Harbor area.. He stated that was a good possibility..
The Croslins lived in a trailer on Magnolia.. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Shell Harbor...On February 9th Hank Sr and Lisa were in Gainesville because Hank Sr. had been in an automobile accident..
Nay Nay claims when she brought Misty back she took her to one of her brother's houses because Misty had to babysit ( which brother, we don't know).. However it was either Chelsey or Lindsey who revealed to AH Misty was staying at her parent's residence while her parents were in Gainesville at the hospital..
Witnesses have come forward and stated they saw Haleigh get in the van with Misty at the bus stop.. Some have speculated it wasn't Misty but Chelsey, Timmy's wife... Whoever it was... they drove off in the opposite direction of the MH located at 202 Green Lane...
Someone also revelaed Ron C showed up at the bus stop that afternoon and when he found out Haleigh got in the van, he went looking for Misty and the van...
I'm thinking when he caught up with Misty all hell broke loose..And the incident occurred at Hank Sr. and Lisa residence on Magnolia or in the immediate vicinity.. To my knowledge Hank Sr. and Lisa's residence on Magnolia was never searched or investigated as being a crime scene...JMHO..
Not trying to mince words, Em, but Hardy stated. "It's our belief this...that...that's a real possibility" when asked if Haleigh died at Shell Harbor. He says it at approx. 4:30 in the video at this link.

The initial crime, the assault -- if there was one -- and subsequent abduction, could've taken place elsewhere.
I did consider the Magnolia St. house, too, when we heard LE was canvassing the neighborhood for leads, and there was the neighbor who claimed to have seen Misty carrying a large trash bag. I haven't seen enough information to convince me, though.
I cannot for the life of me imagine being able to put a child's body in a black bag.
I guess I'd have to be very doped up to do such a thing, but even then I can't imagine it.
I totally agree that the Magnolia Street home should have been checked. But LE had no reason to even suspect they should look there--after all, Hank Sr & Lisa were at the hospital. And if To & M were involved they sure wouldn't volunteer the info. It would have been interesting to know if Jr was ever quizzed about where he was that night. A couch and a man in black could have occurred at any house and not just RC's MH.

actually, that is very funny, & I think like he does, lol. If there's a big box, in the middle of the road, I'll debate stopping & looking in it. On the one hand, it could be full of money, but on the other hand, it could be full of body parts that I could get blamed for. So, I kinda have to weigh my options, lol.The whole idea of work has bugged me too. His insistence and repetition of the familiar refrain, "I was at work!" seemed to be reiterated even when no one seemed to be addressing him or when the question didnt seem to call for an answer requiring the mention of, "work." (I cant stop saying, "seem;" Someone please smack me.)
It struck me as kind of overkill as in, for example, (paraphrased)
Greta Van Susteren: "Misty, where were you in the bedroom when..."
Ron: "She was there.." (describing a position in the home) "..and I WAS AT WORK!"
gees dude. We heard you the first 47 times.
Also, I dont have a map handy, but the location of their home has only so few (or is it one?) way in and out by car and I wonder if the place where you turn onto the main road (by the railroad tracks i think?) had a camera.. like a traffic cam or a security cam. That is if the home is indeed where anything happened, but even so - when, and if, he came back to the home at any time during work hours would be interesting to know.
Also, it always struck me as weird and seemed to be a red herring of sorts or a ploy as in, "See y'all? I was HERE?" that he was on the cam at the quicky mart of whatever at that odd hour. I cant recall the details now off the top of my head, but I recall thinking, dang, if all that turmoil was ensuing, with all the frantic calling and whatnot, who stops off at a 7/11 etc for snacks? (Unless you want to be seen on a camera at such and such time.)
On a lighter note - and if I dont have a bit of levity here and there I burst into tears - it reminds me of that comedian who says that everywhere he goes, no matter how insignificant the purchase, he asks for a receipt in case LE ever mistakenly come after him for a crime he didnt commit. ("I didnt do it I was buyin a donut at 10:45 am on such-n-such date, filed it and saved it." heh) On a sidenote, he also says that he never errantly tosses a soda can or ciggy butt over a hedge. He waits to find a proper trash can, "because with my luck I'll toss my Dr Pepper over the bushes and it'll land, with my DNA all over it, on some deceased person." OK it's not that funny. Guess you had to be there.
What was my point. Yeah, the goings and comings from work and the supposed corresponding times struck me as hinky. Also, TNs reported story of the details of her arrival at the home hinked me bigtime.

And to continue on in this train of thought..... Nay also said that later that same morning after dropping Misty off, she met Lisa and one of the sisters-in-law running to her car and wanting to know where WBG lived. RC, and M's brother & "their dad" (who obviously wasn't HSr) wanted to find him. This to me, means Misty put the blame on him for what happened on that 3 day binge and they wanted some type of revenge or to uphold her honor or whatever. Now, the next question is: did they find him? Did he take them to home of the Mexicans in Crescent City and did something else occur? Is it a possibility that the next night (Monday), the Mexicans came looking for RC and took Haleigh? Was there a grain of truth to the Larry story and the $35,000? By the time LP or whoever offered the money, was it too late and RC knew it? At this point it's hard to rule anything out due to our lack of concrete info. If RC knew he was a dead man if he told, would that fear for his own life compel him to clam up about everything, pretend it didn't matter about Misty messing around? If we only had some more info, sigh.
This seems a lot more logical, given the facts as we know them, than the "Joe got mad because he couldn't steal a machine gun so he killed a child instead" story that's being pushed solely by a couple of documented liars who are also incarcerated drug addicts.
Yes.Wow. Another story of what people don't know about what might have happened to Haleigh but they weren't a participant about it.
Papa, how about if you look at the story this way: Jo wasn't stealing the gun. He was retriving the gun because he was promised the gun by Ron in a drug deal between the two of them. It was business. And when Ron went back on his part of the deal and didn't produce the gun, Jo went after what he believed was his but couldn't locate the gun at the mobile home. I can imagine Jo's anger for being stiffed over the drugs, that's pretty serious business for the people who traffic drugs. Jo wanted revenge, and he decided taking Ron's daughter would teach Ron a lesson in paying off his debts.
How does that sit with you?
Me either.Ya know Az, my main problem with this entire "Joe done it" story is it's source. I'm not aware of a single word relating to Joe's "anger", desire for "revenge", or "murdering ways" that didn't come from someone in jail that's trying to get out of jail.
Whether the words splashed across the media came from their attorney, their Grandma, or their wife's cousin's brother's uncle, the story originated from one of two documented liars who are also incarcerated drug addicts.
Couple that with what I view as a highly illogical scenario, and I can't buy any of it.
Me either.
I can see someone being miffed over money, drugs, guns what have you, but I agree; for me it's a huge leap to be steamed about a gun (if that was even the case) to jumping to taking a 5 year old. That has swarms of cops and my a** is grass written all over it and seems not worth the cost, headache, risk whatever the word is.

That's one problem I have with Joe snatching Haleigh. He wouldn't have known that Misty wouldn't call LE, or that Ron wouldn't have come after him. Flying into a rage and hurting her on the spot is another story. Or, to borrow from Emeralgem's theory about Ron, he might've intended to hurt Misty, and Haleigh got in the way.Me either.

Yes, that's a good point, SD. (May I call you SD?)You're right when we are talking about rational people in rational states of mind. I don't think we are dealing with any rational people in rational states of mind on this case. JMO
