I really hope that for the sake of their children they can leave all this behind and do well in every way. Maybe Lindsey's family are able to hook them up with jobs; nowdays that is what it seems to take. Knowing someone. I'd love to move to MA if I had family there.

Not Lindsy.......Chelsea's family!! I get 'em confused, too!

Too cold up there for my southern blood, this part of Texas is too cold for me LOL Plus, MA has sucky gun laws and the cost of living is outrageous. :)

OT
I'd move just about anywhere if I could get a really good job at a University. In GA all teachers have to take 6 furlough days (unpaid) this year due to the economy.

I had a professor who moved to Minn and they had a tunnel going from the campus to the faculty housing because they were snowed in so much of the year. And he is from Jamaica. I probably have that story all wrong but the keywords are tunnel, snow, freezing and miserable. I guess you get used to it though.

And yes, I meant Chelsea's family in my previous post. Don't know where Lindsey is from. Her family is probably saying "Oh, no, you don't want to move here. No, really, you don't want to. We, uh, we have plague here in town. Yeah, bad plague." LOL

I really hope they all get their acts together for the children's sake. I really just have an uneasy feeling about Tommy, Timmy, and Cousin Joe that I can't shake. I feel like they know something and that is what prompted Timmy and Chelsea to move, what prompted the fight at GGS house, what prompted Lisa and Hank to leave town initially, then come back for Lindsy and Tommy - and I firmly believe their intent was for Misty to go with them and she wasnt having any part of it.

I don't know exactly what it is but something just isnt right about the entire Croslin picture. IMO

Well, if they can't find work what are they supposed to do? They are all probably moving in with Timmy until they can find jobs. Mom and Dad have no jobs, per Mom, and since Tommy and Lindsey are moving and selling the house they all live in, where else do they have to go?

There last names are mud in Satsuma and the surrounding area, no one is hiring them. RC and MC are unemployed as well. Things are bad for everyone in the family on both sides. But, I would hope that I could pull it together enough to stay near my 17 year old daughter during the worst possible time in her life. I could never abandon her in her time of need, even if she had a restraining order on my son. He's moving anyway - so what?

She is at risk and in danger. How does a mother just leave?

If she is in such risk and danger, when her family came over out of concern for her welfare, seems like the prudent thing would have been for her to go with them. She chose not to, chose to stay with her husband, and now the family has had a restraining order issued against one member, another one feeling like he was given something that made him sick, and there's a dead rat that scared the beejeezus outta them all.

They tried. They were attacked. Misty denies sending up the bat signal to come help her. Seems to me, when they try to help, they only manage to make it worse. Misty's emancipated. She has a driver's license. She has an attorney. She has a cell phone. She knows what the numbers 911 look like. Her family did try. Now Misty will have to do it for herself. It's the way she wants it.

I am not saying domestic violence or drugs are the reason for the move - I was responding to someone stating that the environment for the children would be much better in MA - I am saying moving to MA doesnt make the domestic violence or drugs in the home go away so these kids are still going to be exposed to the same environment.

IMO there is still something hinky about them all heading out of town and the way it was done. I do not believe fear of abduction or jobs is the reason at all JMO.

BBM That statement holds true for others involved with long drug and assault rap sheets.

The only hinky stiff seems to be coming out of Satsuma...with headless rats being thrown around, the children are better off far, far away from those that perpetrate violence and kill helpless animals to prove a point....a point that is violent in nature. They got out while the getting was good. LE knows where they are....no prob finding them if they need them.

For whatever reason, Misty likes being part of the Cummings clan. A couple of strong matriarchs in that family and I think she likes that. Who knows if it will last, but she's definitely burning bridges with her biological family quickly.

Methinks you have more maternal instincts that some mothers. Let's face it, LC didn't do such a stellar job of protecting MC when she was younger, allowing her to drop out of school, move in with an older man, not setting the best example herself, etc. Misty wants to act like an adult, play house like an adult, I think they're just going along with what she wants as they have always done- same old status quo.

Do we have an accurate picture of what Croslins lived where and when? I've heard so many varying stories, I'm not sure what the truth is. Here is what I understand:
A - Tommy & Lindsy lived at 116 Tyler at the time of Haleigh's disappearance. They still live there, but are trying to sell their house and move to MA.
B - Lisa & Hank Sr live at 116 Tyler with Tommy & Lindsy. Not sure when this started, but I think they did at the time of Haleigh's disappearance. They also plan on moving to MA.
C - Timmy & Chelsea lived in Crescent City at the time of Haleigh's disappearance. At this same time, cousin Joe was visiting them and stayed with them at their place. That same night, Lindsy's van was at Timmy & Chelsea's house because at 4:00 am on the 10th, Chelsea remarked that the van had been moved from where she had parked it the evening before. I believe Cresent City is 15-20 min from Satsuma. Timmy & Chelsea moved to MA recently.
Can anyone confirm or correct this?

I am happy they are keeping him locked down...maybe now he will tell what he knows about Misty and RC.

I'm shocked the bond is so high. The allegations must be quite serious to justify the bond being that high. I wonder if anyone will bail him out?

He sure is having a run of bad luck.

  • #399
It is a very high bond JMO

What makes you think he hasn't already? There is nothing he has said or done that makes me think he is protecting RC in any way, quite the opposite in fact. What makes you think he's protecting RC and why do you think he would do that? He had no hesitation calling LE after the trespassing incident so I find it very hard to believe he is protecting him.
