Any news yet or a court date or anything??

He has a hearing this a.m. In front of the same judge that signed the warrant and with the 50k bond amount. I'm wondering which atty. will step up/in and represent him.

:) Well the TRO said he couldn't have guns so he had to go return the one he stole if he was to be law abiding  I mean what else could he do?

Well, I guess he could have hidden it in a culvert. :waitasec:

One that loves the camera, I'm sure.

I don't think Ronald knew of the issues between Misty and Tommy or Joe until after Haleigh went missing so how could he be responsible for neglect?!

Leaving his children with a minor coming down from a drug binge....I do believe that he was aware of the dynamics in this family before HaLeigh went missing...a man who assaults frequently, sells drugs and beheads animals for a point....does not often put children first. JMO.

I just read Art's new story about it. It has a few interesting points...

He says sources told him that investigators wouldn’t mind seeing Tommy sweat a few days, thinking about the "consequences of holding back what he may know about Misty and others."

He also repeats that Tim Miller told him Ron admitted to the rat thing and adds that a "well respected attorney confirmed he heard Cummings relate the same story."

If an officer of the court (the attorney) heard the confession to ratgate...he is duty bound to report said confession to LE. They had better prosecute!! He would be considered a reliable witness... a sworn statement taken and RC should be brought up on Federal charges for it.

My thoughts exactly. I mean, I wasn't sure, but wondered. What if the attorney was his own lawyer? That's the only reason I can surmise that would account for no charge... ?

oops - I just realized what thread we're on. I'll move it over to the Ron thread.

Hank Thomas Croslin Jr., 23, was charged with grand theft shortly before 7 p.m. He is charged with the theft of a 38 caliber Colt handgun from a former neighbor of his parents.

He was being held at the county jail Tuesday night on about $50,000 bail.

According to a police report, Croslin and his mother visited the former neighbor in the 200 block of Sunglow Avenue in Satsuma in August. Marvin Martin told deputies he later discovered the gun missing but that it was returned after he contacted the Croslins.

I shudder to post this, and something perhaps even more sinister. She could have aroused, saw a perp, or her brother, with Haleigh on the couch as reported Jr. says, Haleigh already dead and they threatened her and little Jr. I'm leaning more towards the brother, because if it was a stranger perp, and Misty awoke to find the crime in action, I believe they would have murdered Misty, incapacitated, harmed or took her too.

So going with this theory, if it was the brother, he wouldn't necessarily murder Misty for catching him. She's probably not told on him in the past for a siblings lifetime of wrongs. He may also have a sick incestual lust for Misty, if, I repeat if, there is any truth to Misty's comments about "He messed with her". I base this on a spritual truth I know as a Christian. A spirit of lust can't be quenched, so why would he murder his object of affection and lust that's served his perversions in the past? I'm going to put a disclaimer above my post, this is graphic, I apologize.
RON would of killed a Croslin or a few by now if they where the ones behind this crime. IMO

I wonder what was so important that he needed to steal a gun...

OK, now that's just weird. Isn't it?

The man has every right to be angry, and Tommy was very wrong. But how did this work?
He calls the Croslins, they say, "yes, here it is," agree to return it...
He calls police (kinda odd, to me, but different strokes), tells them, "Tommy stole my gun and is returning it at ___ time..."
They set up an ambush...
...and he gets a 50k bail?
Then says it has nothing to do with Haleigh's case?

LOL Riiiigghht... Could they have been any more obvious?

Me too. He stole it in August, so there's one clue.

Didn't Misty say in one of her "tests" (I could be wrong, forgive me if I am-I'm posting on little sleep) that Tommy had 2 guns in his possession?

I would think the neighbor was acting responsible in reporting the missing gun to authorities in case it was used in a crime, if I'm not mistaken, you are required to do it if you have a permit for one.

Yes, I think so.

I see mention of the police report....did I miss it being posted somewhere?

Except he didn't report it until after he got it back, weeks later.
