Hank Croslin Jr Talks

anyone ever think the croslins and cummings are now going with the misty was gone route to cover all their arses? Hence RC saying the bed was made, and now the bro saying she wasnt home......seems to me it was the only turn they were able to take at this point after being caught with all the inconsistencies....maybe if they throw it on misty being gone they figure they can keep deflecting, and she can contininue to say I dont know and if proven she would only get child endangerment charges and they can continue with their "abduction" story.....of course she would have no problem with all of this as that has been her role from the jump, to take all the heat, and continue to suffer from memory loss....jmooc

Well, you do have an interesting point there, gypsyblue!

Who said LE believed him? I saw a quote earlier that said something like "If we are to believe him...". I am trying to track it down now. What I do think is they are trying to pin down what part of his story is true considering it is coming from a thief and now someone who has placed himself at the scene.
Here it is and it doesn't sound to me like he has taken a LDT:

Bowling said detectives talked with Misty over the weekend but would not say what was discussed. He said investigators are attempting to corroborate what Croslin said.

"If he's telling the truth it means a lot," Bowling said. "We took it for what it is worth."

Really, well there ain't no amount of arse covering that would make me place my arse ten feet deep inside a missing childs disappearance knowing I'm going to become their new arse meat.
He could have very well, if he was covering for his beloved Sissy, said, "Yeah, I went by the mh that night, everything was quiet and appeared everything was in order, no distress or signs of anything out of the ordinary which led me to believe my Sis was asleep as usual with the babies. I saw nothing that gave me any alarm signals".
~bbm~ Im a little more leary of those who go above and beyond at placing themselves away from the scene, especially at the top of a 911 call prior to requesting help........and again if you think tommy is placing himself at the scene because he is guilty then that would seem to me as if it were a confession...............I dont think he is confessing to this crime at all......jmooc

LOL He is also evidently a "peeping" Tommy:

"He got down there around 10," Bowling said. "The house was dark and quiet."

Croslin told investigators he banged hard on the door several times. Croslin said he heard no sound coming from the Cummings house, no lights were on and that when he looked in a window, it was clear no one was home.

Wonder why the neighbors didn't hear any of this banging? They did hear a scream around 2:30ish.

JMO, but I think we are just all on edge now because there has finally been some movement in this case. We have the revelations of Tommy being arrested on the gun charge and getting a ridicously high bond and certainly not a pre-set one either. Then we have the pond draining seemingly on the heels of Tommy's late night interview with LE last week.

One thing I honestly do believe is that some lies are unraveling and LE, FDLE, and the FBI will certainly solve this case sooner or later. My faith is in them!

JMO, IMO

I think I understand now what you are saying and asking. Yes I'm saying he is telling the truth about the lights, sounds and darkness. Which corroborates misty.

I am also saying he is a liar, because for 8 months he's not once went to LE and reveal himself as a critical eyewitness in the crime scene case which would have made him another POI. So all the months LE pleaded, along with the family, he remains silent. Guilty by omission. I agree with you, he's moot, because now we have to go strictly by verifiable information and can't put his testimony as trust worthy on anything he says. Sadly. A husband and Father, brother and son ought to be able to be trusted in such a serious matter as a childs disappearance. If you can't count on a person to be truthful and mature at a time like this, I beg WHY?

BBM. Not quite because by her own account Misty was still awake at the time Hank says he was there. Of course it's possible that either one or both of them have no idea of the time.

I agree, people should always tell the truth when a child's disappearance is at stake and there's no excuse not to. That includes Misty.

Why did he keep quiet about it for so many months, if that's what happened? Possibly Tommy wanted to protect his sister and didn't want to contradict her story out of some misguided family loyalty. It's not nice to have a family member in jail. Now he came forward because Misty has thrown him under the bus and there's no reason to protect her any more. Alternatively he may have been afraid that he'd become the suspect if he admitted being there after dark. Of course, if he helped Misty hide Haleigh or did something to her himself it stands to reason he wouldn't want to draw attention on himself.

To me, that is almost like a nonstatement. LE has a lot of leeway in what they say.

JMO

Kool, I edited my post. Would you mind changing your post? Thanks~

I didn't call him that name, but was trying to be funny by stating the obvious. He was looking in the window and it is his name.

Evidently they do have a LOT of leeway in what they say nowadays.

However, I take Bowling's statement to mean they have not been able to determine if he is telling the truth or not. His statement of "for what it is worth" could mean coming from a guy sitting in jail on $50,000 bond who's own mother said he was a thief. I would think if he passed a LDT with flying colors they wouldn't be questioning the truthfulness of the statement.

Kool, I was being unkind to say that so I did change my post. Would you mind changing your post? Thanks~

I know Honey I know. Why do you say you were being unkind? I don't think so. It's not your fault it fit a common cliche saying. It is what it is, you just happened to stumble upon it.

so are you saying this is a confession by tommy? hes giving in? not seein it....jmooc ....

This is not the first time I have seen someone state that Tommmy has basically confessed...wonder where that talking point started? I have yet to see LE release a statement about it....did I miss something?

Yes this is plausible. To be culpable of "only" leaving two children defenseless in MH would certainly be preferable to defending against having directly perpetrated.

We have TN's concession (thinly guised attempt to implicate HC) that unlike Misty (sleeping off her bender) the kids might have awoken to the sound of banging on door. OTOH we do not have anyone stating that only MC was gone or that children were seen. But it should be interesting to see what response MC or RC have... if they stop hiding behind Mommy and attorney.

No one claimed he was confessing about anything especially taking Haleigh. I think he did go to the mh after he learned that Ronald was working. I believe he is not telling the truth about what happened after he arrived at the mh. He does place himself at the scene and there is no way around it.

(bbm) And it was ALSO reported that the family had been given this info by LE and made aware of this :waitasec:

:parrot:

I don't see it is possible they gave this information to anyone:

Bowling said it is the first time anyone has said they were at the mobile home after Cummings' grandmother Annette Sykes left about 7:30 p.m.

"It is surprising that someone would hold that information," he said.

Croslin has been jailed since mid-September on a grand theft charge. He is accused of stealing a handgun from a former neighbor of his parents.

To be clear... are we to take the word of this "thief," as you've said, that he was there... but not that Misty was not...

GGm has placed herself at the scene also...I do not believe she is telling the truth about what happened at the MH either. Guess it's a catch 22...if placing yourself at the scene is a confession...we have two perps.

No one mentioned Tommy being at the mh until Tommy told LE this past weekend according to Bowling. Who else did Tommy tell? Did his wife know it? Did his parents know it? They certainly didn't mention it to LE before Tommy brought it up.

LE knew about the phone records and the call to Tommy's phone, but no one said a word of what the call was about or that Tommy went to mh? Very telling, imo.
