Hank Croslin Jr Talks

Read again and realized that you were talking about Misty's GPS. I believe he meant that they're still considering the findings they got long ago because it seems SOP to check that sort of thing. It might very well be that the phone evidence is one reason they feel Misty is not being truthful.

(snip) Agree w bolded. "Some problems with the electronics," says Maj. Gary Bowling.

I am respectfully asking why everyone (including Nancy Grace) refers the Haleigh's home as the "MOBILE HOME" or the "TRAILER". Even on this thread everyone is typing "MH" (including me). It just bothers me for some reason that I am typing that and I won't do it again. Why not say "Hank Jr. was in Haleighs home".

Why is it necessary to say mobile home especially on T.V. It is never a childs fault what kind of a structure they live in. Why say it? When other children are missing and do not live in a trailer or mobile home it seems no one says "the ranch style nice home" or the "beautiful brick home". They say "home",,, thats it. It is like the media wants everyone to know Ron and Misty lived in a mobile home instead of an expensive house. Just bothers me....had my child gone missing I would resent people saying repeatedly that I lived in a trailer like it was not worthy of calling a home. It is not necessary to make that distinction in my opinion.

Sorry for the rant... I lived in a trailer once.

Very sorry about that. I guess I never realized that I was repeating what everyone that reported on the case said. Funny how their statements creep into our brain. I realize that I was typing MH or trailer though. There was no particular reason for it....I am speaking only for myself here. I never considered that someone might take offense to it.

I don't think there is anything bad about living in a trailer. Except after living here in Alabama and watching news footage of how quickly they are picked up in a tornado...

something in the article that popped out at me...

Major Bowling also talked about Misty’s cell phone. Action News asked him if he could use GPS technology to track down exactly where Misty was the night Haleigh disappeared. Major Bowling wouldn’t go into details, but says they are investigating those facts.

Hello, they physically had her and Ron's phone and phone records since the beginning. They are just now investigating those facts??

Why did they not talk to Tommy about all this back in Feb if they had those records and knew about all those calls??

This whole thing is mind boggling to say the least

Well if that is true I should just be thankful that they are finally getting around to investigating the records and hope that we have some answers soon. Does anyone know if her cell phone was off....would it still ping? I thought they said it was off after the"fight" and turned back on at 3:15...then she made 2 calls her brother and RC...who was pulling in the driveway?

I'm going to make a covenant to myself and vicky not to do that anymore. It's true what she says, and living in a trailer, mobile home, shack, hut, cabin, boat, tent and where my hubby dwells a dog house, ain't no shame in that. Haleigh's home.

Mind boggling indeed! Shouldn't the current happenings have taken place within the first month of Haleigh going missing? Tommy being questioned at length along with his wife. Timmy being questioned at length along with his wife. The phone records and technology being pinned down. Searches of a pond where kids were known to congregate and hang out. :waitasec: I guess we can be grateful they are finally starting to put things together, but it has taken far too long to get where they are today. I am not sure they are still on the right path, but having Tommy in custody appears to be heading in the right direction at least.

Me typing MH, rather than the home where haleigh lived is pure laziness on my part. We love our abbreviations here on WS, and i dont think people are meaning to be disrespectful in any way. The pics I've seen of the home show it looks quite nice inside...no different from any other home.

But I do believe the media plays up details like this...deliberately. When its a mansion-they play on that. when its a trailer or MH, they will play on that too. When there's a crime in the average surburban home they'll say things like 'what secrets lie behind this typical suburban home'.

I think the fact that this family has such a long criminal history has made the media jump on the 'trailer trash' bandwagon, when it has nothing to do with where they live, but how they choose to live their lives.

I think LE has been too busy trying to pin it on Misty they couldn't see the sunshine. Now, possibly since the likely culprit has basically had to take an iron skillet and smack them right in the nose, they are re-positioning and using different avenues never checked before.

Could Misty be off thinking of a deal to turn evidence over on her brother? I mean, its not the easiest thing to do. Think, know, believe or come to realize someone you know would do something un-thinkable in your home. I'm sure of one thing, something is going to go down very soon.

1) BBM We only have GGM's word, that she finally came out with 7-10 days later. She has yet to say what concern would prompt Tn and her to go there.

2) As far as Ronald Cummings...my point was, he did not evidence behavior of a Dad who cannot locate his children or his teenage sitter. Working late and the beer/gig/nut run is evidence of "lack" of concern as to the whereabouts of his children and Misty. Did he know something no one else does?
Those were not my words...they were Maj. Gary Bowling's. He stated them very matter of fact with no indication they did not believe GGS, imo.

I have never seen what the problem is with when GGS said she went to Haleigh's home to take the laundry. She didn't mention that Aunt Lisa was with them either, but why is it a big deal? She must have told LE about it. Maj. Bowling didn't say she waited all this time to mention it like he did say about Tommy being there! Evidently, this took LE by surprise that no one besides Tommy ever told them he was at the house around or near the time Haleigh went missing. I can see why they would think this part was a big deal!

Ronald stopping off to get things on his way home I don't consider suspect either. Most people do the same on their way home from work so they don't have to go back out. If he thought that something really wrong besides Misty being mad at him...I don't think he would have done it.

From the same article you snipped that from:

“What she’s told us is a farce…and the idea that she was doing what she says she was doing and how she was doing it is just not believable…it’s totally unbelievable in fact,” said Major Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

Thanks Muffet I noticed that important paragraph featured at the top of the article--and thought it deserved a mention too. :)

Not many people who have called repetitiously and unsuccessfully for hours--20 times for MC alone he states as well as calls to others--and been unable to reach the person left in charge nor get any reassurance re wellbeing of his children. In fact, didn't he have to virtually pass by 202 on his way to get the beer n nuts :waitasec:

BBM

I think she is going away, thinking of turning evidence over on Ronald

LOL, well then he's dumb as a rock if he lied to LE about him being there at that time of night.

Maybe not...maybe he was protecting his sister and saw the error in his ways...he is a father and this all might have just caught up to him...THINK RATGATE---a threat was made...no doubt in my mind...

Maybe this is one of the reasons a new team drove into town.

Surely boggles the mind. No excuse for not rushing home if you can not reach the only person you left with your minor children for 20 calls or so...no excuse.

OR, may LE couldn't see the sunshine because Misty along with everyone else involved haven't been very truthful nor helpful in working with LE to find Haleigh.

LOL Misty may be described as many things, but not being helpful, nah. Right or wrong, guilty or innocent, she's been through the ninth degree. Don't know of what else she could do. Because someone doesn't like her answers, doesn't equate to not being helpful or truthful.

I've followed many missing childrens cases. Since you brought it up, what else would you have her do?

I tend not to find someone guilty or suspicious just b/c I don't like their answers. It just means I don't agree with their viewpoint. Misty isn't being asked her opinion, she's expected to be truthful about the events that led to Haleigh being abducted. And, it hasn't been just one person who didn't think Misty has been truthful, it's been the LE(team) TM, 4 polygraphs, 1 voice analyzer and all the journalist who have interviewed her.

What if this is the novice of a case and we come to learn LE was wrong? With their wrongness, they mis-led and caused a trail of followers to jump on the band wagon of "Misty is guilty".

(bbm) Thank you NoviceSeeker for clarifying the difference. She could start by giving the same version twice. Not variations in the wording itself but in the actual sequence of events, and explanations offered. “What (Misty’s) told us is a farce and the idea that she was doing what she says she was doing and how she was doing it is just not believable… it’s totally unbelievable, in fact,” said Major Gary Bowling of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Doesn't sound like she's been of much help to LE at all. Matter of fact, sounds like all her 'helpfulness' is what's hindering this investigation. JMO
