Hank "Tommy" Croslin Jr. arrested 1/20/2010 & theft arrest

Some reports from the local media - and I can't remember exactly when but my recollection is between the rat in the mailbox and the theft Tommy and Lisa were involved in on Sunglow. Sometime in August I think.

It was a few days before TC was arrested for the gun......he was in jail Tues/Weds and the following Monday LC and the kids were going to move to MA...but the ARREST changed her plans.

Just when I think that nothing that these people do can surprise me anymore they pull something like this. I mean, I can easily picture Tommy Croslin stealing DVD's. I can picture him stealing Gameboys. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that stealing firearms and alcohol comes natural to him.

But TOWELS, SOAP, and SCOTCH BRITE PADS? WTH?

Maybe Lindsy said they were out of the above and told him to get some and he always does his shopping in neighbor's houses. I just can't imagine in which frame of mind he'd go burglarizing a house and decide that Scotch brite pads are just the thing.

But it's always positive that Misty is rolling on people. I guess now she can because her accommodations are secure for the next few years, courtesy of the jail system, and she does not need to worry about living with Tommy and Lindsy any more.

If Tommy committed a crime and wanted to clean up, the cleaning products he stole would be quite useful wouldn't they? Maybe TC stole these products from a house to avoid being caught purchasing such items on an in-store video camera.

Clean up what? There's was no evidence at the trailer according to LE. Didn't they do a luminol test? Ron showed us the residue left on the kitchen light switch.

maybe to clean himself & a car seat or something? it looks like Tommy is up that famous creek without a paddle. but, if he had taken Haleigh, I don't think Misty or Ron would've covered for him. Do you think this is LE's way of putting the screws to him? Personally, I have no doubt he knows something, & probably something big. Ron did call HIM that night & Tommy was also the proud recipient of that dead rat. hmmmmmmm. you have to wonder why they were all still running together-after the fights. R O, etc...I think this may be LE's way of getting Misty to talk. start with something small & gradually work her up to the big stuff. Does that even make sense? kind of a practice session.

IMO, i think maybe Tommy may have helped in some sort of cover up, or he may know what happened b/c Misty confided in him. Misty has no problem what so ever throwing any one of her family members under the bus, she won't even hesitate to do it. IMO. IF Misty knew Tommy was responsible or Joe, I think she would have told by now and i don't think Tommy would have received a dead headless rat in his mailbox, JMO

I don't know if LE did a luminol test, I assume they did. Yes there was residue on the kitchen light switch.

I wonder how Hank would have handled his neighbor if she would have woken up and found him in the dead of night inside her home? Tommy would be caught like a deer in headlights and his need for a weapon makes me think he was mentally prepared to kill if this happened to him.

Some of Haleigh's stuff was at Aunt Leisa's during the VA of misty. I didn't see any furnishings of any value in that place. You may want to inquire why he didn't move in with momma. Maybe she has stored the stuff in the trailer on Pita Pain.

I'm not sure, I think I read somewhere that they were living there then, but I've read too much about this case and could be wrong.

We could ask Lindsay, but her attention to detail is terrible, I doubt she realizes they are living there now. :crazy:

Hi Mew-
I have tried (as have others I'm sure) to find out if the senior Croslins were living at Tyler when Haleigh disappeared. I have never found a definite answer. All I know is that when Hank was released from the hospital after his car accident he and Lisa went to live on Tyler (if they weren't already living there). And it has been stated that Lisa spent the night with Hank at the hospital Feb. 9.

I should be happy for her, but I'm not. I think it's going to be a source of unhappiness/pressure for her, in the long run.

I was under the impression they were living in a unit close to Tommy before the accident and moved after the accident because Hank couldn't work anymore. But I could be all wrong on that!

With all the publicity about her hubby, and her saying he's an addict and needs help they can't afford..... I would think it would be difficult to find work.

If Misty told police on Tommy about the breakins of the neighbors houses the day she was arrested for drugs is it wise to also think that if Tommy had anything to do with HaLeigh that night wouldn't she have told it a long time ago. Only reasonable thing that makes sense to me is if by telling on Tommy she would also have to tell the WHOLE story. The TRUTH!!
