I think it took a few weeks in the Erin Corwin case, and they had pretty fast confirmation regarding her identity. They will leave no stone unturned looking for DNA and determining exact cause of death

If this is Hannah how long do you think it will be before they release her to her family for burial or cremation? I feel like they must know by now if it's her or not.

Boy, am I confused....Was the body found behind the house? If so, maybe "the road" is the long driveway? Or "close to the road" meaning simply, not deep in the woods? JMO

I think "close to the road" is a relative term. Being in that area in Virginia, it was relatively close to the road (wasn't it stated somewhere it was about 40 feet from the road? It appears to be further than that, IMO). However, if we were talking about a suburb in California, close to the road would mean 5 feet from the road. :)

The second photo also clearly shows the "creek" bed behind the house in front of the tree line. It's much closer to the house than some have previously thought. Thanks for the photos.

I count 2 or 3 houses nearby?

According to LE "Behind the house in a dry creek bed"

?? I was speculating that it could have been the cottage rather than the main house. The creek bed is in the woods....behind both of the homes.

That might take a long time. How long did it take for MH's remains to be released to her family? THe same group is doing this one. Dental ID is pretty quick, and I would expect at least a positive ID would be made with that within a day or two. I'm surprised it's not been done already, as dental records would have been right there given how long Hannah has been missing Again, how long did it take before that match was done for MH?

For the love of God, I wish they would tell us if this is HG or not. It's driving me nuts!!

A local news station posted an interview of with the LEO who found Hannah where he gave details, but said they removed the video after talking to police chiefs in Charlottesville and the county.

It is in the comments.

It will be interesting to see what media outlets continue to mention the info that was said, and which ones act like it never happened. It would probably give you an idea of their relationship with LE.

'What do they say'? "Ya can't unring a bell"... Compare the media management strategy utilized in the MH case with the CPD's media management strategy in the HG investigation.. Night and day, imo.. Virtual Silence vs transparency; an aware public.. Awareness is the key in missing/murdered person's investigations....jmo

Excellent shot! Thank you.

JM had to know the place was vacant, and, in my mind, it was pre-selected. Others have said how pitch dark it is on that road, and you can see the mature trees which would further block light.

JM wasn't drinking shots and then pulling up and wondering if everyone was asleep, or it was vacant. He knew this spot beforehand, obviously.

MOO

If Jesse was to Rent, he'd be renting the Cabin/Cottage.

Since he took her to a vacant house, I wonder if she "came to" during the drive and he told her he was taking her to his house and would bring her home in the morning. That way he could more easily keep her subdued until he got her in the house, where he wouldn't need to worry much about her screaming. This would seem less risky than her causing a commotion while he was driving.

I think it wont be until tomorrow or the next day.

ME offices dont work the same way on the weekends. Labs staff is smaller..etc..There is alot of work to do right now for her case.

What I found creepy ...a websleuth posted yesterday Re: the adult home, one very odd 'review' of this business was/is on Google+. I won't link it as it's probably not allowed. It had a full name and picture next to the review.

IIRC LE has video of her getting into his car as they left.
While possible and maybe even likely, that has never been reported or confirmed, afaik. FWIW, I belive they probably do. JMO

If that is tape, the it appears the body site is probably behind the smaller building rather than the main house.

The crime scene tape is around the perimeter of the 2.5 acre tract. The dry creek bed (where the remains are said to have been found) is clearly seen in the second photo and doesn't even run behind the small cabin.

Where both the possible body of HG and MH were found it almost appears to me that maybe they ran from him and that's where he ended up catching them otherwise I just find those exact locations to be strange in terms of hiding a body. I don't think he hid anything, just left them where he killed them. IMO

^ I would be willing to bet that review was posted within the last 24 hours.... quite possibly someone reading this forum.

Last night I noticed there had been a Google review with five stars and a photo of a young white man. The review as I recall said something like great place if you don't want to be bothered or something like that. I think it was just foolishness, IMO. The name may have been something like David Leary or something similar if my late night memory serves me right. JMO

We may learn today whether remains found over the weekend are those of missing UVA student #HannahGraham: http://bit.ly/1rnyVRv
I hope so.

I agree. I'm house hunting and that house would be too "close" to the road for me.

I'm confused by this post. There were eyewitness accounts of the two of them together after video footage. What are you trying to say?
(Also, I don't think this thread is the right place for this...)

LE has said (can't find a link ATM) that they have video of HG and JM leaving Tempo. They have not released this video publicly. The only video they released publicly were the two clips on the DTM, and IMO that was specifically to crowdsource the identification of JM.
