Has Any Ramsey Defender Ever Given an Explanation for the Pineapple?

  • #181
Mary Lacy's exoneration of the Ramsey's is on par with Mike Nifong being positive a gang rape occured....it's a worthless PR move that has nothing to do with actual evidence.

Lacy herself has previously said the unknown DNA could be from the killer or there could be an innocent explanation for it...I don't see how finding the DNA on the leggings changes that.

If you review the Duke Lacrosse case threads, you will find I called Nifong four to six months ahead of time; i.e., a corrupt prosecutor. As for a fruitcake, I always maintained Elizabeth Smart was abducted by a fruitcake too.

Regarding the DNA, the male DNA that was found with JonBenet's blood was baseline exonerating. However, the recent DNA testing found the DNA from that same man on two different places on JonBenet's leggings. It's not reasonable to believe the DNA from an unknown male innocently turned up on both her leggings and her underpants on the night she was sexually assaulted and murdered.

Did he ever help unload the dishwasher? Did he ever get a dish out of the same cupboard the bowl was in or a utensil out of the same drawer the spoon came from?

And if he never came downstairs that morning, how did he get out of the house? As I recall, he was out of the house and being watched by friends of the family by the time JonBenet's body was found.

I imagine the Ramsey's usual household and it seems fairly chaotic to me, with lots of people tramping in and out. Then the morning after JonBenet was killed, they were true to their usual way of life, called a lot of people and created a level of chaos that they probably felt comfortable with. Were they really watching every single move Burke made that morning? I doubt it.

Of course, finding Ramsey prints in the Ramsey house cannot be taken out of context.

We can only speculate as to whether a spoiled 9 year old boy who has a housekeeper ever did household chores... kitchen chores. Would Burke have unloaded a dishwasher? Would Burke's prints be on clean dishes that he supposedly didn't use because he was asleep?

Fleet White went up to Burke's room later that morning, told him to get dressed & ready to go over to his home. Burke asked if he could bring some new video game he got for Xmas & Fleet made his bed for him & they left. No mention of any detours to the kitchen.

Even so..... the point here is that we still have Patsy saying the kitchen table was cleared and the bowl & glass should NOT be on that table. Isn't she very clear that an intruder must be responsible because she has no idea why else those things are on the table? Things with the fingerprints of Patsy & Burke.

We can only go by what Patsy & John say....

Burke was upstairs.... asleep. But we hear him on the 911 tape. We KNOW Patsy is either a liar or to be more charitable... she makes MANY statements about important evidence in this case without knowing whether they are true or not. Either way, she's NOT even close to being a reliable source of good info, is she? We don't know when to trust her word or not.

These items are NOT wiped clean of fingerprints like all the other items were.

LOL!!

Right because here he'd been waiting in the house for HOURS already.... lucky to not be discovered by any of the Ramseys when they finally returned home.

Never giving any thought to the possibility that the longer he stayed in the house the greater the odds became that he would be discovered. No, not THIS intruder.

Knowing that JB was such a strong & powerful little girl, there was no way he'd be able to cover her mouth & carry her downstairs by himself.... there was no choice but to entice her & hope she would just walk down the stairs quietly.

Uh huh. It makes perfect sense.
Yes, JB was much more stronger and powerful than most little 6 year old girl. I think that I read where she won a few "strong man" competitions. She proudly dispayed those tropies with her pageant ones... So, I can see how the intruder would have to entice her with pineapple. Can you believe these people that actually think that the intruder served her pineapple?

If not...they should have been. Remember...there was a killer on the loose. And the RN said that the Ramsey's would be monitored....OH BUT YET...they let him leave the house and go with friends.

We only know that they scraped two sides while searching for touch dna.

We do NOT know whether they found cells on two sides or just one side.

I would think scientists/Lacy would not make such VAGUE statements unless they were trying to report back with a specific result.

If I purchase a product, I keep the receipt.

Even for groceries? Why? Not everybody does that, you know. I could understand it if you kept the receipt for ....a new tv...for example....but, for groceries???

I guess since they knew it was such a SMALL foreign faction, they wouldn't have enough members to watch the whole family if they were in different locations. Nothing much to worry about.

I'll usually keep a grocery receipt if it's a credit card receipt. If I run in for a couple of items... I almost always throw the receipt out immediately.

It's not as if I'm going to return a bag of pretzels or a case of Coke & need to save the receipt.

Looking at any single piece of evidence in a vacuum has a highly liklihood of producing a wrong result, whether for guilt or innocence. It's also a tactic used by defense attorney's to create reasonable doubt where no doubt should exist.

This may be a case where a shady/crazy/narcissistic family is victimized by one of the craziest, most unpredictable kidnapper/pedophile killers in history. Or, the DNA could be from transfer and unrelated to her death.

As for Mike Nifong I could have told you within the first month that it was a false accusation...no legitimate rape victim tells that many mutually exclusive contraditory stories.

When any person's story doesn't match the evidence and/or their behavior is totally off the charts for what one would expect its a good bet they're hiding something. That goes the same for the false rape accuser at Duke and for Patsy and John Ramsey.

OMG the idea that a crazed pedophile intruder fed JonBenet pineapple is asinine. It is beyond asinine. Who is this intruder? Is he someone that knows JonBenet well enough to get her to come downstairs [what about the stun gun LOL], in which case, he's going to be able to grab her at any time and doesn't need to crawl through a window. Or, is this 6 year old going to come downstairs with a stranger and eat a bowl of pineapple with no thought that this is total stranger is in the house?? LOL again.

Either Patsy lied about feeding her pineapple or JonBenet got it herself and its irrelevant to who killed her.

But, no ransom writing pedophile intruder fed it to her, of that I am sure.

I agree! How ridiculous is that...an intruder breaks into the home...goes upstairs to JB's room and says..."Hey...little girl, little girl.....wake up. You don't know me, but....guess what...I have some pineapple in the kitchen for you. Would you come with me so that I can get it for you?" JB.."OKAY...yippee...I LOVE pineapple".

If JB got the pineapple herself, her fingerprints would be on the bowl, and they aren't. Sure, she could have pulled up a chair and just reached into the bowl while it was in the fridge, and grabbed out some with her hands...but, I doubt it. And that wouldn't explain how the pineapple bowl and spoon...and glass with tea bag in it...ended up on the kitchen counter. Patsy said that she didn't put it there...and in her interview...she says.."Somebody else did this", implying an intruder. But the real question is WHY would an intruder do that? We know that JB didn't put the bowl there....no fingerprints. We know that Patsy SAYS that she didn't put it there...but, her fingerprints are on the bowl...and Burkes. And I am sure that they would have questioned Burke about giving JB pineapple. ...since his prints were on the bowl, and obviously he said that he didn't give it to her either, or else the Ramsey lawyer wouldn't have called the pineapple..."the big bugaboo". IMO..Patsy sat down with JB and Burke...and the kids ate pineapple while Patsy sipped tea. She probably handed the bowl to Burke at the table, and thats how his prints ended up on it. JB was probably close enough to the bowl, where she could just reach in with her fingers, or whatever.

That's very convenient since it allows you to sidestep explaining the host of actions this so called intruder took that don't fit any kind of profile or probability based on similar crimes...all you have to do is say "I don't know, the intruder was a fruitcake"....

I think that I will start using that as an excuse, when I do something stupid. When my husband says...."WHY did you do THAT?", I will say..."I don't know, I am just a fruitcake".

The tupperware container in JonBenet's bedroom contained what?

I would like to know the answer to this too. I have never read anything about a container being in her room, in any interviews for example. But, I am sure that if it had of contained pineapple, the juice would have still been in it, and there would have been a way to have test the contents.

hmmm............

14 TRIP DeMUTH: And what I hear you saying is

15 that that's not what this is.

16 PATSY RAMSEY: No, I don't know, it doesn't

17 look like it. If I packed snacks, I would have

18 been downstairs in the kitchen somewhere --

19 TRIP DeMUTH: Okay.

20 PATSY RAMSEY: -- or, you know, but --

21 TRIP DeMUTH: Would perishable items be in

22 a Tupperware container up in JonBenet's room,

23 perishable food items?

24 PATSY RAMSEY: Not likely.

25 TRIP DeMUTH: Okay.

0539

1 PATSY RAMSEY: That's what makes me think

2 it would be more likely to be the beads or

3 something.

4 TRIP DeMUTH: Okay. So do you think that

5 that's pineapple in there?

6 PATSY RAMSEY: I don't know. It could be.

7 TRIP DeMUTH: Would you think that that

8 would be likely, or unlikely up in her room?

I never thought the pineapple was a huge deal, myself, but I do think the idea that the intruder/killer fed it to her is TOTALLY UNREASONABLE. There is no intruder scenario--friend of family, mystery santa, stranger--wherein I would remotely believe that the intruder fed her the pineapple.

Patsy fed it to her and she lied about it. Now, she could have legitimately forgotton about it in her 'confusion' and then after she knew she was suspected simply refused to admit she had lied, or, she lied about it because she's the killer, or, being a 'fruitcake' she lied about it for a crazy reason.

It is possible that Patsy Ramsey was an unstable, narcissistic, child abusing, drama queen fruitcake....but somebody else killed her daughter. I personally don't believe that, but its possible. Much more possible than a pedophile murderer intruder feeding his 6 year old victim pineapple before brutally attacking and murdering her.
