I'd like to think we have done all the serious discussion on stickers and most of the joking around, but...... I bet you there are variations on stickers you and I can not imagine.

Hercule, I was reading the doc dump in detail last evening. I will look again so I can reference it for you. ...I knew I should have printed out that thing last night but it was really long....lol

For now, I am going to conceed that I am wrong about the paper and should not have implied that the typing was ON the paper. I will be more careful from now on. I have been reading for two hours. What I did find was there was typing on an unidentified material. This is located in the OCSO report of Feb. 19.

Concerning the heart on the matt board, it could still possibly have been a picture or poem glued to it and the ceramic (?) pink heart attached...speculation of course.

There is also a listing of PIC frame in this report but I don't think it was close enough to the bags to have been part of the evidence..:bedtime:

Just catching up on the posts and wanted to throw this out there. I agree that the puffy sticker appears to be on a matting, possibly a scrapbook page and is a plastic/vinyl material that kept if from deteriorating.

The "second" sticker whose backing was found in the "special" box is probably what left the residue on the duct tape and it appears to be simply a paper type sticker. Having placed many a bowl etc in the dishwasher with these type stickers what happens is they deteriorate and simply fall apart when in water. And this is only after a one hour cycle! Four months in the elements and water and that sticker is long gone. I think the missing sticker will never be found...but do hope that the residue will tie it to the house.

Or maybe it just is stuck to the bottom of a investigators shoe!!

I cant belive that GR actually accused the LE of tapeing the visits with KC and JB..

I think they did. In the reports, why would it not mention that the heart was attatched to a piece of cardboard like they describe it in the items collected?

And if it was stuck to cardboard when found (item #11 ), and they are one and the same ,then was it placed there after being deliberately stuck on the tape?

I think they are holding it back, along with the other items in the bag with the skull because its the best evidence they have directly linking her to the crime.

If it is their best evidence, they would ESPECIALLY want to release it because they can't use it at trial if they didn't disclose it!

Don't forget though that they do not have to release it in discovery if there is an ongoing investigation OF a particular item or set of items. So, if they are in process of working up the sticker, then it is possible it was not included in the paperwork that was released in this particular document dump. They CAN hold back any evidence that they are still "investigating" and that's a fact.

But not if the evidence in question ALSO falls within the categories of evidence they have to disclose to the defense. In other words, if something falls within a required disclosure category, they have to disclose it (and release it per the Sunshine Law) EVEN IF it would otherwise fit within the "investigation" exception. The required disclosure categories (from Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.220) include any documents relating to any search or seizure, any reports or statements of experts, any documents or objects obtained from or that belonged to the Defendant, any papers or objects that the prosecution intends to use at trial, etc.
