Meaning?... that although it was close to KIOMARIES description area, it wasn't EXACTALLY where she stated? Or even exactally where RK said he searched before?
Just asking what YOU think/mean.
Personally, I think Caylee's remains were found further?... (N;S;E;W)...don't know the direction, just think closer to Hopespring than the dirt trail spot across from the school.
I think that this particular spot just fell through the cracks.

The area on the dirt road at the end of Suburban is a much more likely "teen hang out". After all it looks a lot dryer.

We know there were areas that they stayed out of because of water. They didn't want to damage potential evidence that they couldn't see. It seems that may have been a good call.

We know that at least some LE thought that the spot had been searched (ref: response to RK call). But they could have confused that with the dirt rd. area.

It's not too much of a reach to surmise that this one place just got overlooked.

ETA: Except by RK, and he had trouble getting people to believe him.

I know, right. There's a Walgreen's less than a mile from me with these heart stickers in stock. (yes, I checked!) I was almost in the car before I said "Stop it, Marina! and went back in the house.

OK, no luck at my Walgreen's....

42-Again, I'm talking about a subject I'm not an expert in. Just from memory, thought that KIO spoke of an area right off a dirt road. (a short cut to KC's family home) The videos from that particular psychic showed her near a dirt road. I thought RK was first on a dirt road. My uneducated guess has always been that searchers were really close, just not close enough.

I hope you people haven't been using this thread as an excuse to go out and shop scrapbooking supplies.

I agree with your guess.

The dirt road is at the very end of Suburban, and extents it to the east behind/beyond the school.

Looking at it on Google Earth it looks like a much more likely place for teens to gather than the wetlands/occasional swamp that Caylee was found in.

(bold above by me)

Maybe because it hadn't been searched several times?

Or at all?

OK, we're gonna go nuts with the details (no squirrel jokes please). Searchers may not have searched the exact spot where the remains were found. I don't want to go back and find TM's exact words about it because it's really not relevant to the point I'm trying to make... the area had been searched several times, but the remains that obviously were there were not found. What are the chances of that happening? No one thought for a minute that Caylee's remains would have been right there, after months of searching. But truth is stranger than fiction. I don't think it's a stretch to say the heart found is the same heart that was attached to the duct tape. We could argue the meanings behind "similar in size" all day long. But the find was significant enough for LE to write it up in their synopsis. If it was a different size or shape sticker, why would they bother writing it up? If they didn't think it was "the" sticker, why would they bother writing it up?

Marellano did find the exact sticker, imo. I haven't found any stores or online sites selling them except Walgreen's. A search of product availability at Walgreen's in Orlando show that all 10 stores currently have them in stock. Apparently, it's a common sticker pack and readily available in the Orlando area.

Also, the pack comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. It seems that LE would have found a similar sticker or at least the remainder of the pack at the A home if KC had these.

On the other hand, some of the stickers included with this pack are similar to the cell phone type stickers that KC had on her phone. I've been looking for something in prior photos that look like the heart sticker found at the scene but I'll look for different sizes and colors now that I see how this sticker is sold.

If you do go looking looking for these stickers, see if you see any that have glitter embedded in them. I blew up the photo of the raised heart and sharpened it. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks but I can see glitter in it. I can't tell from the picture if the ones that were found online also have glitter in them?

I can't post pics yet...and even went to the game threads and posted a few posts...but I hate games, LOL

What causes you to believe that the heart sticker was treated as particularly more significant than anything else they wrote about?

They would be quite aware that finding such a sticker would have all manner of "Bombshell", "Breaking News" consequences. Of course they're going to pay attention to it, if only to clearly exclude it as relevant to the case.

LOL- I'm obsessed. When I went to pick my daughter up from school the other day, her best friend had been given a sticker for being so good in class.
It was a reflective one. I asked if I could look at the back of it, and peeled it off his uniform. It was metallic on the adhesive side too.
I am now up to 12 reflective stickers of different origins and they are all metallic on both sides.
So if KC stuck one of the refelective heart shaped stickers on the duct tape, and it wasnt found at the scene, i'm guessing that she either removed it after the fact, it was lost in transit, a bird flew away with it, or it ended up in a different location due to the tropical storm.
I do not believe it disolved in the water. (although i still have the sticker sitting in water in the sun to test the theory)

Here's a couple possibilities.

1) The sticker on the duct tape wasn't reflective/metallic after all. The backing in the photo from the A's house had nothing to do with that sticker. The sticker on the duct tape was made out of paper or something else that would degrade.

2) The party ants found the sticker from the duct tape and thought, "Ohhh, SHINY!!", and took it down to The Basement.

But they collected all the ants?
And I believe they had a warrant for the ant home including the basement. Did they then find the sticker there and are keeping that find secret.

I do think once the ME found the duct tape residue, then "Heart Sticker" became highly important. Finding one at the site would have been treated very specially. I am sure the LE did make special note of it at the time and since. Whether it actually does turn out to be relevant to this case is another matter.

Thinking about it. Maybe some of the ants made a dash for it and made it to the abandoned house? Do you think they took the sticker there?

I certainly agree with that. I think I said that.

If we get a pool going I know where my money's gonna be on the "relevance" question.

"They haven't even found the third knife" said Uncle Milton speaking on behalf of the entire colony.

You know what? All kidding aside I think we need a new thread on that house, or at least we need to resurrect the old one about finding it.

That darned house popped up out of nowhere, with no cause but DC's "mystery trip", and disappeared with no comment or fanfare.

Why did DC go there?

Did he follow the party ants?

I know your opinion.

I am certainly not certain enough to bet on it.(I have share markets for that)

But the spectacle of Dopeys room, and her OBSESSION with hearts, and heart stickers specifically, moves me to regard a heart, on possible scrap book card, found anywhere within shouting distance of where Dopey dumped her baby, as a having much better than even chance of being related to the case.
