If you do go looking looking for these stickers, see if you see any that have glitter embedded in them. I blew up the photo of the raised heart and sharpened it. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks but I can see glitter in it. I can't tell from the picture if the ones that were found online also have glitter in them?

I can't post pics yet...and even went to the game threads and posted a few posts...but I hate games, LOL

I do not think it fell off the duct tape. That was another sticker that MAY be related to the backing found in Dopey's room.

What reasoning leads you to this belief? Not being snarky here, I'm seriously intrigued.

Is it just because of the proximity, and that there were heart stickers involved in both? Or is there more that informs your belief?

What makes me so convinced that it isn't is the state of the undergrowth of the site at the time.

I think that this picture (sorry, I can't bust through the MyFox copyright notice, and I've been too lazy to collect better links, or I'd post the pic) is approximately where the heart sticker was ultimately found. I don't see KC wandering around there, and I can't envision the heart sticker migrating through all those weeds either by means of weather or party ants.

Much better pic AZlawyer. Definitely glitter. After seeing this pic and the glitter, I agree that it's a match to the one found at the scene.

I just don't think this heart was ever stuck to the duct tape though. If the adhesive didn't hold it to the tape, why would it adhere itself to cardboard, 40 feet away?

So...we know it's a scrapbook/crafting sticker. KC liked to scrapbook. Expensive hobby...how much is that little pack of stickers? Was CA buying the scrapbooking supplies too? Just wondering.

BTW...when the description of the duct tape was posted...I was looking at the exact brand of tape with the exact same trademark on it, right here in my house. Our A/C was out and the screen in this room didn't fit the window exactly, so I duct taped it into the window to keep out the mosquitoes. I live about 30 minutes from the A's and we shop at Home Depot. If we've got that tape, that duct tape is going to be common to everyone in this area.

No, I have no definate proof. We had descended into the world of probability (drives) and as I said, the Dopey obsession with hearts, to me makes any heart nearby LESS likely to be coincidental. Obviously you don't need much proof or conviction at the $10 level.

Could be computer generated, but I don't think so, because of the look of the embedded glitter. Is there a link to where these stickers are displayed online?

I'm also wondering why we want to buy some. The Walgreens right next to my house has them (supposedly) so I can go buy a pack. I'm just wondering what I will do with them if I buy them!

You could stick them on pieces of cardboard and leave them outside for 6 months, then see what the result were?

My guess is that ants will run off with them, but it would be an interesting experiment.
