Heath Ledger has been found dead

I appreciate your experience with this drug. But I have some personal experience watching others die from it. One being my mother in law, she had a brain stem stroke, was alert afterwards but couldn't speak, ambulance rushed her to hospital, her medical power of attorney, who thinks she's a doctor, that did need to be added ya'll, I promise. :) They shot her up with ambien and she never came back to us, all her body started running fever, onto organs shutting down and died. Bam. This woman was in fairly great condition prior.

She had just gotten home from the hair dresser and grocery store putting up her ketchup. I've also heard several rumors since about people having brain stem strokes after leaving the hair dresser. I think we may of had a thread around here one time.

Wasn't Daniel Smith on Ambien too? Ultimately though, my opinion is based on a revelation to be totally honest with everyone. I'm not against drugs either.

The results we've been given concerning Heath's autopsy, medical findings also could be a result of protecting his insurance policy in order to be in full force for his daughter Matilda. Also to console and protect the entire family. Which is okay by me, the family deserves the best at this time.

What did she have done on her hair?

I don't think Ledger needed money from an insurance policy. And I don't think examiners would lie to protect one.

I've never heard of giving someone Ambien to treat a brain stem stroke.

That said, I think Ambien can have severe effects on some people, especially if abused.

I read a study at some point that drew a link between the shampooing w/ your head tilted back and strokes. It kinda freaked me out at the time. :(

OMG...that's like my favorite pair of getting my hair done!

She had her hair done regularly. Just shampooed, styled and sometimes when needed colored. She was 74 years old. I have read several places where people were putting together brain strokes and the frequency after leaning back into the chairs and having your hair done. I didn't do alot of reading, just found it interesting as I do know this happen.

Yes she was given ambien, I never said it was used to treat a brain stem stroke. The power of attorney wanted them to give her something to put her to sleep that night when she arrived and took over.

Yes, medical examiners do do handle private matters with the families interest at heart. I know for a fact questionable deaths can and do are ruled often in favor of accidents etc... in order not to hinder insurance, embarrass family members etc...

I don't believe Heath committed suicide, I believe it was a total accident.

Exactly Pandora, I've read it too, and it did happen immediately following her return home from the hairdresser.

From an EW article, here is what Christopher Plummer, Heath's costar on his latest flick, had to say:
"Heath did have a terrible, lingering bug in London, and he couldn't sleep at all. We all — I thought he'd probably got walking pneumonia..."

"We were working in such dire conditions in London, outside every night in the cold. Which may have contributed somewhat to [the state of] his health. We were all armed with antibiotics all the time."

That is unbelievable. He should be fired for that.

Absolutely. John Gibson's comments were shameful and uncalled for.:furious: Proves what an insensitive cad he is.
He should have been fired on the spot.

The housekeeper said when she went in his room to change a light bulb he was snoring..a short time later the Massuese comes in and he is dead. Maybe he had sleep apnea? The snoring is a sign isn't it? And with being sick already and taking some pretty strong meds. Gosh I don't know I just feel so bad. When they brought him out on the stretcher it looked like a skinny little boy..

Yes that is a sign MGS. That's about all I know about it, too though.

Time will tell what killed Heath. I for one am sorry.. to see him in Brokeback Mountain is just to hard to watch at the moment. Prayers to his family at this sad time.
