Heath Ledger has been found dead

I first saw him in the television series "Roar". He was so young and talented with his own series. I just watched that again about 2 months ago, too. Such a loss.

I take Zanax for plane rides because I am phobic. Didn't someone say he had just flown in? Has it been confirmed that Zanax was in his room?

It is so sad the death of Ledger..I respected his acting ability so much.

These last 3 photos on this link ..show such a difference in his appearance speaking volumes IMO of what was going on in his heart and mind- likely depression from his break up with his former fianace and being away from his daughter.Depression is such a sad, sad disease-- seeing those photos made it visibly so obvious he needed help :(
I hope his 2 yr old daughter , Matilda hears all that was good about her father as she grows up without him :(.

RIP Heath.

TMZ is now reporting finding a $20.00 bill rolled up suspiciously with a white substance on it - it's being tested.

I freakin called it!!! dangit... you know why though? lohan has been hanging around the scene as early as last month, and even though she is clean... you get into that scene... its wayyy too easy to fall into that crap. you get sick, you take prescribed meds with a little street stuff.... your body is worn out... there you go. a baby without a daddy. :-(

If so, makes his death even more sad ,IMO- It;s been reported he had been 'clean' a year- but im thinking he got back on :(
he looks really gaunt in his last few pictures and in the interview in November he was 'twitchy" and seem unsettled-- the reporter said he 'raced' out of the building after the interview like someone who smoke and had to go light up-

Substance abuse is HARD to kick-- all just goes back to looking for a way to stomp out the demons of depression by getting that" euphoria" feeling gotten from drugs-even though it is just a quick fix and in no way helps problems or depression.

Wow - that's the first I had heard about illicit substances and I've no doubt that's what will be found in a rolled up $20. It is true that drug addiction is hard to beat. I have heard that he had drug and alcohol problems - I had not heard that he had any clinical depression.

Most people I know who abuse dope are depressed about that facet of their lives but they aren't all clinically depressed.

I am so sad to have to come face to face with the fact that dope was probably involved.

My continued prayers for his family.

E! online gossip columnist, Ted Cassablanca, says in his column today that good friends of Heath are NOT suprised at all, they are saying he was a big time druggie. You can read it here:

I'll bet it turns out to be a lethal mix of over the counter, perscription and/or illegal drugs.

Again, it really doesn't matter what caused his death, it's still very sad!

I love how his "good friends" are all leaking to the media. It's crazy what people will do and say after a "good friend" dies.

Exactly! With good friends like that, who needs enemies?

I hope this report about the rolled up $20 isn't true. :(

I saw an interview with the man that "coached" Heath on how to do interviews. He stated that Heath hated doing them. Of course, he would appear nervous and twitchy, if that was the case.

It wouldn't surprise me if they find that pneumonia and taking meds for sleep suppressed his respiratory system enough for him to slip into a coma then die.

He was a handsome man and one hell of an actor. He will be missed. RIP Heath.

It's interesting that few of the "friends" are being quoted by name. Anyone could claim to have been his friend and give dirt.

I don't know SS it was alot of twitching though.. Whatever it was I feel so sad right now over this. He really seemed like such a sweetie pie & he wasn't running around the streets acting stupid like some of our celebs.. I feel so bad that he was going through something. It breaks my heart.

I'm with you, MGS. In that interview, I would bet my last dollar that he was on something.
