I was watching Oprah yesterday and the whole hour was with Bon Jovi. :dance: I LOVE THAT GUY!!!

Anyways, it was obviously a repeat but Oprah had a little chat with Richie at the end and asked Richie why the band continues to be so successful or something. He said, it's like a marriage, it's all about commitment.

I don't know what to make of his split now with Heather.

I tend to like the funny guys myself. I just have a hard time seeing Heather with him - from Tommy Lee, to Richie, to Spade? Although maybe she realized that she needed to break from her usual taste since it wasn't getting her anywhere.

Their marriage was probably doomed from the get go anyways - him being a rock star and Heather being an actress plus living in LA.

Jon on the otherhand, marries his high school sweetheart who wants no part of the limelight and after every show he's happy to go home to her in Jersey with their 4 kids and just have a normal life.

Wow, I wish I'd seen that; I like Bon Jovi too, he seems so nice and so nice looking.

Jon on the otherhand, marries his high school sweetheart who wants no part of the limelight and after every show he's happy to go home to her in Jersey with their 4 kids and just have a normal life.

I was afan years ago but more for the looks and music side of things.. now I find I am even more impressed with Jon Bonjovi. He does appear to be a grounded and normal individual. he does a tremendous amount of work in Philly and in Camden NJ. He has created a school which he directly funds with supplies such as computers, book bags, books, even school uniforms so that these kids can get a leg up with an education and have a chance to get out of the econ onically depressed and gang ridden area. He has built numerous habitat for humanity houses ( with the rest of the band). And yes he owns the Philly Soul but he and the rest of the band hang out in one of the sports bars amonst the rest of the folks.. no separate rooms, no body guards etc..
I also heard him say how he his kids had no idea what he did until they learned about it in school one day.. I think he said his daughter was 10 when she learned about his career.
His latest interiews have all mentioned that he continues to do what he does to make money to fund all the philanthropic activites. He says that is where he can make a difference and gives him the most pleasure... :clap:

I heard him say recently that the only difference between him and other kids' dads when he's home is that he takes a helicopter to work (when he goes from New Jersey to New York for business meetings). He said other than that, he's just a regular Joe.

He's definitely someone who's done lots of good with his celebrity and has a good heart to boot. :clap:

I totally agree.....he is a hottie! He is definitely aging quite well. I think he has been married to the same girl for a long time. Anyone know if that is true? He is definitely a cutie pie, though.
