My name's Lincoln, and I am the lead on a small group of researchers. We focus on cold cases and missing persons involving trans and gender diverse victims. The research end of things is going well. And we just sent our first tip on a case to NAMUS.

The reason we focus on these cases is because a lot of crime sites neglect trans and gender diverse victims altogether. Even when they're part of a serial killers victim count. Or they misgender them, which makes the crime much harder to solve. So we're building a respectful place to consider and discuss these cases. Our website is live but still in the beginning stages.

If you have a case you want to bring to our attention, you can reach us here or on social media:

Facebook: Trans Cold Cases

Twitter: transcoldcases (@transcoldcases) | Twitter

Myspace (yes, really): Trans Cold Cases (transcoldcases) on Myspace

Or hit us up on email: [email protected]

We look forward to connecting with other people interested in these types of cases.

Welcome - here's one that is in the process of DNA testing. A brutally tragic case that has been cold for way too long:

CA - CA - San Mateo Co., WhtMale 773UMCA, 19-25, female clothing, Nov'83

Oh yeah, Pillar Point Doe!
I'm really hopeful to see the results of that one. I joined the Trans Doe Task Force, though I haven't been as active as I should be. Volunteers have been busting out case summaries daily. It's exciting that right now seems to be the time for this to be happening.

It’s a good sign. There is seemingly a shift in the collective consciousness, and an awakening of compassion it seems. A good trend indeed.
