Again, I must correct you about the lights. The neighbor was referring to the lamp INSIDE the sunroom. That light stays on at night along with the light post outside. The light post was also off that night.

Toltec,

This is the first time I heard anything about a lamp post light also being turned off, and about the light on the southeast corner being INSIDE of the sunroom. Here's what Schiller had to say about it in PMPT pb., pg 76:

"Diane Brumfitt, another neighbor, told Detective Barry Hartkopp on December 31 that on Christmas night she did not see a light on at the southeast corner of the Ramseys' house, though there had been a safety light in that spot for years."

Toltec, could we have a source for your info? Thanks.

BlueCrab....Here is the source regarding the lights....

JonBenet the Police Files...page 78:

TT: Okay. Any, any lights specifically that you normally light, leave on? The same light all the time?

PR: Well, we usually leave a light on in the TV room. That little den.

TT: At the back of the house.

PR: And typically we leave on, you know the lamppost and maybe a lamp in the sun room or something.

But he surely took the ball bat with him, since I don't remember LE listing a ball bat on the evidence list, correct me if I err on that.

Camper
A baseball bat was taken as evidence. It was found on the north side of the house, near the butlers kitchen door.

Toltec,

Thanks for looking that up. Patsy didn't say where the lamppost was, or whether or not the lamppost light had been turned off. Diane Brumfitt didn't mention anything about the light on the lamppost so I guess it was at the opposite side of the house from the sunroom. Also, from Patsy's response it appears the light that Brumfit saw out was IN the sunroom, not on the outside of the sunroom. Thanks again Toltec.
