I was up all night, until 9:00 am and didn't get up until 3:00 pm (California.) One of he first things I always do when I get up is turn on the computer and check to see if there is any news about Ariel. This is so very, very sad -- even though most of us knew this would be the outcome. Seeing the pictures of her before she went into foster care looking healthy, and then seeing pictures of her under the "care" of the Kaluas; getting thinner and thinner, covered in bruises (pictures that couldn't be posted here because MSM didn't print them or report on them.) And the sad eyes. Poor baby girl, life was never fair for her.

HPD just released the mugshots of Isaac and Lehua Kalua. They are the adoptive parents of Isabella "Ariel" Kalua. She's the 6-year-old Waimanalo girl whose disappearance in September sparked a massive, multi-agency search in the community. (Thread: 1 of 2) PHOTOS: HPD

How do they know she is dead? Have they found evidence or has the oldest daughter told what she knew happened?

I was wondering if one of the siblings talked. Once they were away from the adoptive parents. They felt safe to speak.

The Kalua's did not allow a search of their home.

The evidence that lead to the arrests did not come from Crime Stoppers, hmmn ...

They got the information from "witnesses".

She's twelve, so very able to communicate what was going on in the home.

Apparently I missed it but why are they asking for information of contact between people and Ariel all that way back to 2019?
