I'mm trying hard to follow all this.
Did anything ever turn out from this?
I don't know. I don't have a coconut wireless plan.

No, I just know that the coconut grapevine works very well, but one has to be connected to the people to get the messages. ;-)
Me too!
I was going along replying to posted question when Run posted that info, guess the page did not refresh or went to next page. Wow at the reviews left on the Horsemanship page.
It was not divulged, which is not to say the info isn't known by some or many people in the area. It was parts too, not the grill alone.
It is very possible he took parts because he wanted to promote the idea that the usual vandals found the car and took parts that could be of value. The grill alone screams of hiding the car's identity, but the grill + parts can read as petty theft. Well, if he did the stripping as we spec, and gave it to people to hold, I just hope they are testifying to that.
Lydia Gaines, the one in the youtube vid is the same girl as Lydia Perry, the one mentioned in the Horse ranch review. She was married to Adam Gaines. Adam and Steven were friends, he met Charli when she and Steven started dating.
Adam Gaines was one of the founding members of MSAR.
I hate that I'm drawing out these people's private lives on for us to ponder and hem and haw. I'm more comfortable in lurk-mode. Happy Easter everybody!
Lolo, thanks for making it all clear, lol, after I spent quite a while figuring that out last night after RunDaSurf posted. I learned a lot though. Thanks, Loio, for refreshing our memories. I don't think you're revealing their private lives as L and A had been discussed early on in the case and Adam was in the documentary. Seems like Adam was initially a friend of SC but his allegiance switched to Charly and then her mom.
yes, only not "missing" so much as officially declared a murder victim, after the case was reclassified as a homicide is how I read after L knew that C had been murdered. Because until early March they did not know.snipped by me ~suggests that Lydia was hanging out with SC after in a friendly way, and the two may have stolen the car together.~
So the accusation is that AFTER Charli was missing somehow LG was still speaking to SC and somehow is involved with missing parts from Charlis truck?
Or oceanIf he stabbed her he had blood all over him. He had to do it near water or a hose or a shower.

I've thought a little about Charli's 4Runner, and now the parts car. Not because I have any theories, but just to color in the picture for future scenarios. First, Charli's car--found on its side, torched and raided.
Someone may have seen a list of missing (not burned-up) parts, but this is what I see on the pics from last year: doors, lights (don't know if they'd burn out of the fender), and, of course, the grille. Bumpers are intact and there are unknown items there--a big box(?) in the cargo area and some large cylindrical thing hanging off the rear (?).

Some thoughts: ( DUH warning)
--The light-colored 4runner is an extremely common car on the island. My impression is that Charli was connected to SC in an ongoing way via her car (AND her dog, the daughter of one of HIS 2dogs, I believe.)
--I think that these things (and others, besides pit bulls ) were and are highly valued and are common currency in that social circle.
--I think that spare parts, for one example, are sold, traded, whatever between everyone, and that a Parts Car is a great stash to have.
--I also think that, because of drug use--and the accompanying life-style (involving various other unlawful activities -- petty theft, selling drugs, etc.) there is an acquaintanceship & familiarity with--more or less--criminals and illegal activity (The perception of which would depend on one's own level of criminality) Such as persons as might help strip a car, sell hot parts , buy hot parts, engage in in sub-legal activities, ask no questions and keep secrets. Lie too...
--I think some people, while they might not steal or engage in destruction or thuggery, might use drugs, might keep secrets and might bend truth. They might easily justify "rescuing" a good parts car...
(They are all, to varying degrees, in my view, in such moral and ethical confusion that they can cross lines they never thought they would in a million years, and never see it until its too late. Now, their psychopath "friend" has acted and things are serious, sinister and deadly. The net around them has been their moral confusion, sprung by S. Capobianco. )
