Well it's apparent no one is putting any money on the books for him. And his attorney may not care much because his hair is out of control. Then again, that might be his poker face and he's playing the sympathy card.

In any event, he's famous! Big plans for his life indeed.

Footnote: I would not be present in court to support my grandson who is charged with murder.

If he dies of anything it'll be starvation. There was another food strike the other day. I guess the portion sizes are bigger at the schools and many of the prisoners are starving. I read their diet is ramen, rice and cereal. The MCCC handbook paints a bleak picture. The prisoners are also stacked 4 to a cell, in a space designed for two. One hour of recreation a day. If convicted he'll move to a Federal prison.

There's a lot of escapes from this prison but where would he go? Everyone would recognize him. Yeah, better he just keep up the fight.

You are not wrong about the food considering he worked at a high end health food store. That and the fresh fruits abundant in the jungle.

When I see pics of him makes me think how he didn't like to be photographed or have his face online. So now the only ones are his mug shot and jail clothes.

I felt a sense of despair...like maybe he knows the cards are stacked against him and his Lawyers are not up to the task...and he doesn't want to go through this horrible trial...the humiliation...the hate. Whats the point? Goodbye Cruel World...then again he is a psychopath without feelings...what do I know? When I feel stuff though I like to make a record of it. Thanks all.

He does seem a bit hardened to humiliation and hate.

I keep wondering how he could do that to such a beautiful person inside and out. Was he that cold or that hot with rage? How do you destroy someone so loved, want to obliterate her? He must have been entirely damaged as he grew up to end up so twisted.

"The psychology of these types of people can be referred to as "psychopathic narcissism", typically they tend to be so detached and dissociated from their own humanity that they are clueless as to what they really feel and how their inappropriate and selfish behavior is perceived by others. They appear to be heartless, depraved monsters devoid of all human caring and decency. Bad seeds. But behind their extremely effective facade, mask or persona, hides a hurt and angry little girl or boy running destructively amok in the big world. Sociopaths are, as I have argued elsewhere, primarily made, not born." ~ Stephen Diamond Ph.D.

I wonder though if people are predisposed by their DNA to have this personality? Is it the way their brain is wired? Some function in the right atmosphere while others demise in a destructive atmosphere?

I think everyone has the propensity to snap and lose it. Murder may not be the consequence but everyone has a breaking point.

It may be so that everyone has a breaking point, although I'm very sure I don't have a breaking point that would lead to this kind of act. I've had a lot of crap from people in my life and my snap is yelling and at worst throwing something on the floor.

In any case, it sounds like you haven't studied abnormal psychology, which is not everyone's cup of tea but is a field of knowledge that applies to criminal behavior.

Sociopath aka psychopath personality behavior is a real thing and affects everything about how they act, react, treat others. SC hated his drug addiction centered mother, we know that. He probably learned to shut down his sensitivity to survive in that bleak and abandoning childhood environment.

Genetics may play some role.

Nature or Nurture? Perhaps for SC, both?
BTW, psychopath and sociopath are different disorders. Similar, but different.
I am not going to pretend to understand his childhood, his experiences or the genetic make up of his brain, what lobe didn't form right, what chemicals he's missing or which antisocial personality disorder he may have.
Not all people with antisocial personality disorders are violent. It's a disorder. We walk amongst people struggling with disorders everyday. Psychologically speaking, in SC's case, most likely he is a walking combination of the antisocial personality disorders. Nature AND nurture.

It wasnt rage. He was making room. Clearing out the old to bring in the new. C was coming back. He needed a clean slate. Painting the walls a new color. Scrubbing. Dusting out the closet. Cleaning up his mess. That $1200 was probably her plane fare as someone else mentioned I believe. Maybe to spruce up his pad.

BBM Wow, if that isn't the subconscious seed for the genesis of his rage, I don't know what is. Sounds like he was taking out his rage for his own mother giving birth to him. Kill the boy child, kill the pregnant mother.

sheesh

I think so ...
He has apparently been hostile towards and projected hostility coming from Charli's family throughout their relationship. Then Charli became a mother figure, and without his approval ...

C was his new fantasy, yes. But he stabbed Charli over 50 times, in the breasts and womb and we don't know where else (clothes tell only so much of the tale), and he may have shot her, and more. That is rage, either heated frenetic rage or cold icy implacable detachment rage, we don't know because he won't tell.

Could be rage or most likely could be antisocial personality tendencies where there's just no emotion hence the ability to carry out such an awful crime. Violence does not always come from rage. There's fear, self preservation, passion etc... Murders happen everyday. Not all murderers have antisocial personality disorder and vice Versa. We are talking a deeper psychosis.

The Scott's and I believe it was a little more calculated than an enraged mind would lend itself. Yes he blew her head off with a shotgun probably. Hard to miss. Stabbed the baby enough times to be sure it didnt survive. Calm. Cool. Collected. Thats his consistent M.O. throughout.

It does seem very calculated/premeditated, motive-wise, (as you said, PT, cleaning house) but, then the stabbing overkill of Joshua in his mother's womb along with the stabs to the mother's breasts indicate suddenly-unleashed hatred and rage towards Motherhood to me.
It seems like the calculation part ended with the alleged shotgun blast to Charli's head.

The $1200 might been to finish paying his friend T for the truck he bought from him.

Dont mistake ruthlessness for rage. Its not Stevens style. I think it makes it easier for you all to understand if you can attach a rage label. An "I hated my Mother stigma". I think he was doing a job. Gutting someone. Calm cool collected. Get the job done. No satisfaction from the act. It was a means to an end. Sure it was a crime of passion. Passion for C..not Charli.
