Just google his name and the page will come up without having to subscribe.

Would you mind summarizing? I can't get to the page without a subscription, and google isn't bringing up any news more recent than May.

Dang, looks like I missed a good day in court.

He waives his right to a speedy trial. Turre testified he gave SC his miranda rights and SC initiated the form that he understood. Turre also indicated he told SC that he would be recording and SC replied he would have requested that anyway.
The hearing on the defense request to exclude Capobianco's statements from the trial is set to continue Oct. 15.
January 19th has been set for the date of the trial.

SC wore the wet look, slicked back curly hair.

I have no problem viewing the story. I google SC his name and set the search at past 24 hours and the link comes up first. I get right into the story without having to subscribe.

:tyou: all for the updates and links on the latest court hearing!

See you all here October 15th! Has anyone "updated" the "new" calendar feature on here? Maybe someone in the "know" (I don't know how! :D) can put January 19, 2016 for the start of the trial!

I have had my mac lap top for several years. I would never buy anything other than a Mac now that I've had one.

Are you able to see the picture of him I linked?

I am, thanks!

Haha, right on! ;) His people are totally lurking around and had to have given him the message that he needed to comb his d@mn hair.

Hi Loio!

I think it was you that said you would be going to the trial? Hoping we have someone there is RL reporting to us!

:tyou: in advance for doing this for us - IF it's you! LOL!

I'm sure he doesn't want to look too pretty for his fellow inmates. ;)

What are the rules again for discussing a public Facebook comment by a family member about an important event? Link? No link? Quote or paraphrase? Sorry, I know there was a discussion on that but don't know where to find it quickly.

No link, no quote, no names if on an individual's FB page. A gentle, veiled push in the direction of the quote and that's about it. Was the quote on the Find Charli page or a FB news page? If so, the link can be given along with the initials of the poster and the approximate time of the post.

IMO

ETA: are you referring to a post on 9/11 referencing State v. Kassebeer?

Thanks, MamaJoJo, I thought there was something where a public comment made by someone part of the case, intended to be read, could be discussed, not as an absolute verified fact that something happened, but in terms of this person has said this. It's interesting how if it were stated in an interview we could totally discuss it , even though it is still just a statement and not a proof, but if family says it publicly on their own accounts, it is not to be referenced.

Well, I don't see the point in gently steering if we can't discuss how it might influence (some of our theories) on how the crime went down. It's easy to find, but I don't like to put out a hypothetical and pretend it's not based on something. Guess I'll fade away again.
