I don't, but KHON has been running a short segment on the highlights at 6PM, which is about an hour from now in our time zone.

I'm upset to ask this. The dead pig that Molly testified about/found in the general area of where the items were found. Could that possibly have been a fetus?
So sorry I know that's an awful thought/vision. I googled and there are some pictures that might be really hard to tell given elements.

That is a terrible thought but you're not the only one.
My guess is no, because MW was born on Maui and works in the wild pig habitat, which means it's likely not her first rodeo. Wild pigs have a very thick hide, and they still look like dead pigs for a while. I have seen my share of them as road kill. Unless it was a piglet, we are talking about a large animal carcass.

20 inches in my mind seemed so tiny for a pig. Thinking about it more, I don't think at 5 months a fetus would be 20 inches yet. And if MW is experienced than I take her word it was in fact a pig.
I can't google anymore, it's upsetting.

I happen to know quite a bit about feral pigs and thought this finding of a small pig just laying out dead in front of God and everyone was creepy. Young pigs don't just fall over dead for no reason. I also think the theories involving feral pigs eating up Charli's body are 100% wrong. There is no way. Feral pigs get a bad rap but that's mostly because the serial killers ( hunters ) of these shy, beautiful animals need to justify the horror and cruelty inflicted onto them as a service to the public. I'm sure the police paid no attention at all to the little dead pig but I would have wanted to know why it was laying there deceased in the middle of what appears to be a ( staged ? ) crime scene. It just doesn't seem right to me.

Good points, welcome too!

I guess I would not think 300 yards upstream is in the middle of the scene. Not with it being dense jungle. That's 900 feet. It is creepy though that the smell of death was multiplied.

I've had feral pigs and piglets on my property for about 8 years, so I'm also very familiar with them. And I also never saw one die naturally, but they must have some mortality rate, and then there is hunting. I have seen hunters shoot pigs that ran away wounded, both by gun and now and arrow, and the hunters were unable to find the wounded pig because it was late in the day or rough terrain or something.

This would be a piglet, really, and I can't imagine calling it a pig unless the black fur and other features like four legs showed it was a pig. Otherwise it is a mystery carcass, so I hope Molly was equally careful about that.

HGO, that Maui Now linked article was great. I didn't get to listen to much of Molly's testimony yet, so that was really great for catching up on what happened after they left Paraquat's.

PS. I thought that Loo said the area was NOT known for a feral pig population, because that surprised me, but maybe Inheard wrong.

All the feral pigs I've seen were feeding daily on Palm nuts and guava and rooting for grubs. They would run away if I clapped my hands and yelled "scoot." They have never threatened me or charged. They never attacked other animals that I saw including pets. However, cornering a pig is known to bring on their dangerous side, or approaching the wow with a litter. And it is well known that even domestic pigs will eat a human body if it is fed to them. That's not to say they go out of their way looking for flesh; as I said, the feral pigs really like fruits and nuts and grubs.

I corrected my spelling. Loo testified NOT an area for pigs. I'm was also visualizing a tiny baby pinkish pig. I had to stop googling because a few pictures I saw could definitely be confused on pig or fetus, which was upsetting. Then there were pictures that no way one could mistake one for the other. If one has never seen a fetus there's a possibility that it could be mistaken. I didn't get a chance to listen to Molly's testimony yet but Pua, sounds like Molly knew what she was seeing.
And I agree, very very weird in a place that doesn't typically have pigs there was a dead one right smack there.
Thanks for the info, it gave me a better understanding.

Welcome, ONIPAA1!

No live stream today. We will have to rely on those who are going to court to report back.

Correction to my post where I thought it was 300 yards; it is 300 feet. I'm listening to the CC testimony on the pig right now. She said it was a black one and seems clear it was a pig, not maybe a pig. About 35 minutes in on day 12, pt 7.
as you can tell, I want it to be a pig and not the awful alternative.

I can't read the article due to paywall. Who were the witnesses yesterday?
Phaedra and Molly were Day 12.
The Maui Now article is nice and long and no paywall.

It looks like day 13 was all Molly Wirth. From the article sounds like Apo just kept going on. They did have an issue with her wearing a unicorn shirt. She zipped up her sweatshirt to testify. When the jury was leaving she unzipped and turned to them. Apo wasn't happy

Good on ya, Molly. Lol. Did the judge chastise her after Apo whined?
Any idea who is scheduled for today?

Thanks, Pua. That MN article is from Monday's testimony, which was day 12. I haven't found anything about Tues. the 19th, day 13.

Molly's got sass. *thumbs up to her*

The court asked the witnesses and those in the gallery not to wear anything that could sway a jury. We do not want the jury to find cause for a mistrial. Wearing unicorns and Marsy's Law tshirts is clearly in support of the victim. Honestly, I don't think it's unusual or out of line to show support for the victims but in this case, where the State is trying SC based on circumstantial evidence, I think the judge's order should be respected. We all know SC he murdered Charli and Joshua, I have faith in the State that they'll prove it.

So unicorns and Marsy's Law shirts are banned, the color purple isn't! Hair ribbons, lipstick, anything to show support. We just need to be creative.

Someone on Court Chatter said trial begins at 10 Hawaii time today. No talk of streaming.
