Maybe. But I don't think it is a bloody hair, have we heard that? I read it as the detective found one of SC's hairs, with a root, inside of bloody jeans with the blood on them matching Charli.

LOL. Correction. Hair in bloody jeans.

They haven't presented that yet, but I'm sure they will.
Right, when they get to the forensics guy, around the same time as the "bug guy" Loo mentioned.

In talking about clothes with evidence, it just occurred to me that one reason for SC to take a shower before leaving home (per CK), might be to wash off loose DNA like flaky skin. Loofah time. ;-)
just a thought, maybe far fetched, my first thought was to smell nice and clean for Charli because women like that.

I think what bothers me the most is that there are still no bodies. Just a jaw bone. It freaks me out and I have nightmares.

The jeans were dry? They were found Thursday, so maybe placed there after Sunday?
For all we know, there was some whole other set of clothes used for the actual murder that was not found. Burned in the 4Runner or better hidden. A spot by the knee and the back of the left lower leg is not much blood considering what was done.

fwiw, I don't see the back of the lower left leg as a spot that would happen during an attack.

Good to know. Does anyone know if the public access live stream is available as archived? I was not able to tune in live.

I believe SC is 6 feet tall. I myself am 5 foot 10 inches tall. We both are about the same in weight. I wear a 32 inch waist and 32 inch long pants. A 30 inch long pants would be a little short, unless one is wearing work boots. I would say the pants match SC build, however I'm not sure how the MPD could verify the pants belong to him.

Not to discuss how you dress but I am 5'11 and wear 30 inch long pants. Just saying. We were sandals here. Pants too long and you wear the heel out

lol, true, and if your jeans hem gets grabbed between your rubbah slippah and your heel when you're walking -- tripping ... The longest pants I have are above my ankles.

Maybe we can ask the Court Chatter folks to archive the streams.

I have the entire day off work and I hope to watch some of the live stream today! Waiting for court to begin...

And the hippie dudes in Paia like to wear all kinds of pants...short harem pants, baggy pants, hipster jeans...you can't say the pants don't belong to a person just because they're not a perfect fit.

We are talking about length here, and only 2 inches of length. If the pants were way too big or way too small, I could be convinced that they were not his.

OMG. The jury is not in the courtroom. They are reviewing an email. Email will be part of the record. A juror may have discussed the case.

  • #1,016
Now they are talking about an incident with SC in an elevator. Oh, some of the jurors saw the defendant shackled. <insert eye roll here>

Now the jury is in the courtroom and they are polling them one by one to see if they have spoken with anyone about the trial.

I was hoping we would have some real testimony today.

BTW, Pua, Court Chatter is aware of the trial. I asked if they would be archiving but there was no reply.

Who brought this issue to the court's attention, do you know? I assume it's Apo, simply because I don't like him.

Steven probably is looking for any excuse to throw this trial... I'm sure the sheriff let the court know.

The defendant is in jail. Is that a surprise to anyone?

Don't know, that part was all sidebar with sound off. Judge is doing all of the speaking now. I'm off to clean my kitchen.
