I would watch it -- but I can't find the video. Maybe too new. ?

my live stream has been down every time I was able to check it, so I caught up a little with Earls.

Yes, probably too recent as it occured just before lunch recess.

That was wonderful. I liked that she put her foot down. She was more clear and firm than Rivera when he gets fed up with Apo, and and I love that she kept count and escalated the requested punishment. Apo is like the old saying of a dog with a bone that it won't let go of.

Agree. Wonder if Cardoza was finally fed up with Apo-antics or if the female prosecutor gave him the gumption he sorely needed?
What is her name?

This witness likes to talk! (And clear her throat!)

I have never been so bored as the last couple days with these 'chain of custody' witnesses.

I wonder if Apo will try to ask those questions to this witness too.....

It's 1:20 am here. I'm trying to decide if it's worth staying awake for this testimony!

At approx 1:27 in the first session of today's testimony on YouTube, Earles states that he received the blue tank top from officer Bonacorsi WET. Here's a pic of it from today's first session. I still say it's medium blue.

View attachment 102405

I find that many pics take on a blue/gray tint on the courtroom flatscreen. But the tank-top appears to me to be dark/navy blue, though the polyester/spandex gives it a slight reflective quality. I can understand why SC described it as black.

"Old Navy fitted maternity tank. Scoop neck, shirred sides. Navy blue with white polka dots. 58% cotton, 38% polyester, 4% spandex."

No more court until Monday October 17!!
I need to take up knitting or something...

The last witness, Ivy, told of the strong, distinctive smell of the green blanket upon receiving it in the lab. When asked if it still retains that smell today, she answered yes.
Before Apo objected, she was presumably about to say "the smell of death." :-(

Why the 2 week break?

Are those the pants that were found? Were they Charlie's?

SC also described her outfit as a dress that went down. I can see where he was confused by her shirt being so long almost like a dress and then she had a skirt on. Goes to show he knew EXACTLY what she was wearing because he removed it.

Why the 2 week break?

I think it was mentioned that one of the jury members had something he/she needed to take care of, but I could be wrong.

No, these are just pics I found online of the exact Old Navy maternity tank top that she was wearing. They mentioned the brand today in court so it was easy to find it online.

What is her name?

Her name is Tracy Jones. She's doing a great job. I will watch the clip in a bit.

Oh, good, it's not just me. I fast-forwarded past most of yesterday's testimony. What a snooze fest. Haven't watched any of today's yet.

Thank God the jury will get a nice break. They deserve it. Like I posted a thread or two ago, they should all be excused from further jury duty for life after this trial!

And I have a whole bunch of other things to do....

I was just thinking of how the Academy Awards show has the audience pleasing sense to hold a Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony earlier and just gives the highlights of the event in a quick condensed version.
