I appreciate all the questions being asked. It is tough not to be able to get answers to any of them, even the most basic, such as an explanation of the texts.
That was a good question someone asked about the truck really being stuck in the mud. It seems to me that Jeff has lived there long enough that he is not going to go and get himself stuck but I dont know the layout of the land, anything is possible.
The other thing I dont understand is his wife said he was going to clear the property. I cant imagine that being a single person job with as overgrown as I know it can get in areas over there.
No sign of struggle whatsoever. Jeff would have fought tooth and nail unless like someone stated he was blind sided or knew the person who did it.
Or if he was never there at that location there would also be no sign of struggle. Does anyone else think that whatever happened to him possibly happened at another location and the truck was just staged on the property?
If his truck was stuck in the mud then you would think there would have been footprints from at least jeff walking to his tire to check it out. The police never mention anything about another set of prints. They never mention any other tire tracks. I myself thought if Jeff had got stuck he would have tried to shove some wood or something under the tire to try and get it unstuck before he just walked away. Was there any evidence of that?
For the love of God why were tracking dogs not brought on to the scene. In my mind that is the first thing that should have been done. Even before all these people started searching. Tracking dogs first that way you dont have a large group of people walking along possibly destroying any other evidence there may have been. Is LE really that

backwards in that area?
I have such a strong feeling that this crime did not take place on the property and the truck was placed there after. But LEE emphatically states it was not the nephew so I have to go with her on this. Because if it was staged then the Jeff would not have called the nephew and stated he was stuck in the mud. The only thing i can think is that the nephew is saying that jeff called him and told him to come help him and he actually did not receive a phone call but a text. Who knows. None of it is very clear and concise reporting of the facts in my opinion.
My wife was telling me that if I had disappeared such as this she would be on any media outlets possible asking for answers or witnesses or clues. She would be scouring the internet for any comments people were making, hoping to read something that would help. I dont understand why his wife is not on this website doing just that, helping us to do everything we can to find her husband. Maybe she is watching from the sidelines but she would have the best answers to many of the questions that would help lead us to Jeff.
I am not trying to point fingers, there is no evidence to suggest his wife had anything to do with it, but damn he has still not been found. I think everyone around Jeff should be looked at as a suspect until they are cleared. If that helps get some answers then why not. If the person is innocent then there is nothing for them to worry about. I cannot say how I would react in his wife's situation but I just feel I would have to be doing everything possible to find my spouse. Which would include scouring the internet.
To all the people that are trying to tiptoe around asking the questions they feel may be offensive towards the missing or his family and friends please dont be hesitant to ask anything that may help. It is not the easy questions that we are going to find any answers with or we would have already had the answers. More in depth questions, however personal they may be, need to be asked in order to get to the true facts of this case.
