Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Kelly Gravitt of Pāhoa, who was reported missing.

Gravitt was last seen walking in the area of Pāhoa Village Road and Kauhaleh Street in Pāhoa on May 19 at 7 p.m wearing no shirt and gray shorts.

Gravitt is Caucasian, 6 feet and 180 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a beard. He has several tattoos on his face and neck, and a prosthetic left lower leg.

Police ask anyone with information on Gravitt’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311, attention Officer Keanu Lum Won.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

I wonder if it's possible he's self-isolating somewhere for his own personal reasons? Hoping that's the case, he's a very unique individual that has alot to give this world.

Hawai’i Island police are renewing their request for information regarding the disappearance of 34-year-old Kelly Gravitt of Pahoa.

Over the past several months, Area I Criminal Investigation Section detectives have conducted multiple interviews and follow ups on Gravitt’s disappearance. His family is deeply concerned for his well-being.

“I have a few theories, you know, and I’ve got hundreds of stories of his murder, and now he’s thrown out a lava tube alive, stuff or, you know, but I don’t, I don’t know which rabbit holes the truth. So, so it’s really hard.”

“His father keeps in contact with me periodically. And you know, this time of year, Veterans Day, you know it, you know,” Capt. Rio Amon-Wilkins Hawaii County Police Department said. It resonates a little bit more with him,

It has been almost two years since Kelly Gravitt was last seen.

Hawai‘i police on Monday issued another update on the missing person case, again renewing their request for any information relative to the disappearance of the 34-year-old Pāhoa man.

That’s so sad. Some members of the mushroom community can be a little… odd and there are often squabbles over territory. I wonder if someone got envious of his stash or wanted his territory so they got rid of him to get it.
