I could not disagree with this more. I have done many things drunk (in my earlier years) that I would NEVER have done while sober. The next morning I was completely mortified. Someone can be in a blackout and do things they would never normally do. I don't think that happened in this case but I will certainly eat crow if it turns out I'm wrong.

I agree 1000000000000%. I don't drink much anymore but when I was younger, I did some pretty dumb stuff while drinking that would never have even occurred to me to do when I was sober.

When did she take the poly?

Could the results have been affected by a hangover or by effects of rx drugs? They ask you what, if any, rxs you are taking before the exam, no?

LE usually ask about drinking, legal drug use and illegal drug use before they administer a LDT.

JVM is covering it.

There's one thing that keeps bugging me about the reporting today.

The time DB put Lisa to bed. First we heard (or thought) it was the 10:30 time - that was cleared up and we had all been going on the 7:30 time.

Now its 6:40.

Yet, HLN especially just keeps saying at first it was 10:30 and now its 6:40.

Get it right guys.............................sheesh

Good evening! JVM is also substituting for NG tonight and going over the same thing.

I am more appalled, however, by this latest admission by DB.

:maddening:

I would love to hear Mark Geragos comment on this case.

I just dont know what to think..If she put Lisa to bed at 640 pm, the other two boys had to be up and about for a while. Heck , if their Mom was passed out, they might have been ruling the house for hours. Obviously its important to hear what they have to say. this is nuts! There is no timeline anymore! We have no idea what time Deb went to bed, what time the other kids went to bed. Hours in a blackout!!!! WoW!!!!
Seems like they could arrest her for child endangerment, she has no idea what happened to her baby cause she was too drunk to know!!! Throw her arse in jail and let her think about what the truth is.

Absolutely agree about child endangerment and/or neglect, not only for Lisa but the other boys as well. They are not old enough to be left to their own resources for hours, or to babysit a 10 m/o baby.

I personally cannot believe this women is being railroaded the way she is. The media cannot even report it right. JMO

Who told the media Lisa went to sleep at 7:30 pm and was checked on last at 10:30 pm? Debbie.

Who LATER told the media Lisa was REALLY put to bed at 6:40? And that's REALLY the last time Lisa was seen? Debbie.

Don't blame the media for the lies the mother has told them. They are simply reporting what she says. It's not their fault she keeps changing the story. C'mon now.

Tacopina defended Bradley's revelation from today that she had been drinking on Oct. 3, the night Lisa disappeared, and may have been drunk.

"She was willing to tell the truth about it, even if it didn't make her look great," Tacopina said. "I think that goes to her credit. It's her being truthful."

Tacopina might give her credit but IMO she should have admitted it when the Police were first called as soon as Lisa was missing! Her credibility is 0 at this point in time.JMO

Do we know if she told police about her adult time that night?

Oh wait...she admitted to being plastered on wine and taking anti-anxiety meds while watching 3 small children. My bad...she IS the picture of credibility. :congrats: on your brilliant defense, Joe.

It is worrying that the focus of all of the "news" shows is about Mom being "drunk" and not much about a baby still missing, just as the PC was and the recent interviews seem to have been.

What if DB had taken a sleeping pill (say, Tylenol PM) instead of drinking. Would you think differently?

That isn't what happened, though...is it?

Unlike Polly Klaas, for example, who was actually abducted from her home, there isn't much focus LE or the media can put on where Lisa may be since there isn't any evidence she was even kidnapped.........and the answer most likely now rests with someone who possibly "blacked out".

They are talking about neighbor's home. LE reported to have told them that the items removed from home was related to dog scents (dog searches).

Does Tylenol PM make people black out that they forget to lock their door and window or when they last checked on their sick baby?

I've never taken a Tylenol PM so asking if it has the same effect as 5 or more glasses of wine.

Vinnie showed Baby Lisa's video which was thoughtful but those videos are when Lisa was 2 or 3 months old. He did show the one where she's standing by the glass door. Why don't they show the more recent ones? The ones at the bday party? I haven't watched JVM or NG coverage so don't know what they're showing.

Absolutely not. Often I take one at night to get to sleep, however, I still awaken at the slightest strange noise or the next door neighbor's little dog barking in the back yard.

Also, what is the point of even having the baby monitor in Lisa's room if one is going to be unable to hear it?
