HLN showing opening statements

It just really bothers me to hear him take apart GA the way that he did.

It does me also however it's important to listen to it to dissect what he said vs. what the defense will actually show during the trial to back it up.

I'm YELLING at the HLN program....really JB? You are going to castigate ROY KRONK by quoting his "testified to" statements, ie calling him a LIAR per se but NOT ADDRESS the MOUNTAIN of equally "testified to" statements & actions of your felonious client? REALLY????

AND regarding "nothing to link said client"...she had TIME, TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY, HURRICANES on HER side!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

When LDB gave the opening statements, is it true that the jury was shown pics of Caylee alive and the Caylee's skull? I heard that, but I find it hard to believe that the A's would not have some kind of reaction, or even KC would not have some kind of reaction.

Okay, I'm not that suprised that KC would not have a reaction. But she should have at least faked one.

LOL We're back at "What the dogs allegedly said." Wish I had one of those talking dogs.

Nobody knows for sure what pictures the jury saw during LDB's opening. She (LDB) did state that on one side of the screen was the last known picture of Caylee (on Father's day) and then she says until December 11, 2008 - so everyone is assuming that that picture was shown to the jurors.

In this courtroom (HHJP) has total control over what goes up on the various screens. They can just show pictures to the jury (several flatscreens in the jury box) or they can put the pictures up on the big screens mounted in the courtroom.

So GA and CA did not see the picture but ICA sure did and I don't recall any big emotional showing from her while this picture would have been on ehr screen. She don't care.....JMHO

again... WATCHING caseys FACE throughout these opening statements... she is a cold-hearted....<modsnip>. far from a mother in the least. nothing and NO ONE, as before her arrest and after... NOTHING and no one is off bounds to be in their field of fire... inother words... to be BLAMED, incriminated somehow, be partly responsible for the sad death of this child. it seems, to casey... it is still, just a big game to be played like a chess game and she thinks she is still in control of the board.... sadly, and thankfully, she is not. <modnsip> look at the casey getting arrested/booked video!!! she is smiling!! almost like she is on a red carpet... baez is saying EVERYBODY involved, every law enforecement department, all these people... they were/are, ALL incompetant??? casey DIDNT fool anyone!!! THATS WHY SHE IS IN JAIL FACING THESE CHARGES!! all she was able to do was keep her mother, family and anyone who asked about caylee, AWAY for those now famous 30 days... but once the cops came in... it was GAME OVER!!! there was no cover up or involvement by any other family member.... luckily, she most likely didnt get the chance or had enough time to REALLY implicate others.. for, is she could have, she would have... and in a way.. she DID with all the made up people.... she is a <modsnip>.. plain and simple. it is written all over her face, you can see it in her eyes. if others, like us, who have children and have watched them growup to the same age or there abouts... WE, as parents, could usually tell when we caught them in lies or telling 'tales' or otherwise, just plain getting caught at some stupid behavior... we, as parents, know what's behind their eyes.. you can tell they are hiding the truth; the same look is in casey's eyes... she HAD to stay away from her family... that was the only way this charade went on as long as it did... NOT as baez claims, as if she outsmarted anyone... she didnt, not one person. she kept away and then upon getting caught, made everyone search for a LIVE caylee....

Poor little ica was just sitting in her room getting ready for her big responsible job at Universal when suddenly mean old GA runs thru the house screaming for Caylee. She quickly runs out to the front because everyone know Little Caylee can open locks and garage doors. Mean old Ga runs out back and quickly sees that irresponsible CA has left the ladder in the pool. He comes back carrying poor Caylee and the first thing he does is yell at poor little ica who takes Caylee and just cries and cries. Next thing you know the meter reader comes walking thru the yard and GA thinks great I will give Caylee to him in a laundry bag and he can hide her for awhile until he can collect on the reward that we will make once I put a big sign on my truck and drive around.

CA - guilty of leaving the ladder up
GA - guilty of finding the body and hiding it from CA
RK - guilty of hiding a body until a reward is offered.
Poor little ica goes into horrible shock and suddenly has the urge to go shopping, dancing and decorate for a 4th of July party. She is only guilty of having pizza, borrowing alittle money and running over a squirrel.

:twocents: Information via visual documents can be observed by SELECTED participants and NOT shown to the entire courtroom audience. There are times that is done while the forensic pathologist/medical examiner is testifying to the jury regarding specific details. On the other hand, if the SA so chose, they could prepare a "pseudo Caylee" and that might be seen by EVERYONE.....again, depends upon the jurisdiction and Judge's decision. I've :innocent: experienced both situations, never has it been easy on the victim's caring survivors.

Relistening to JB's opening statement again, I am thinking he seriously needs to take some public speaking courses before he tries another case......comparing his manner of speaking (I'm partially ignoring the content of his speech this time, so I don't throw something at the tv) to LDB's delivery, he sounds like such an amateur. He stumbles, pauses at the wrong times, wanders all over the place distracting the listeners from what he's saying, etc. I know he soooooo badly wanted his AHA! moment, but he probably should have let CM do the OS. (Not that I'm sure that would have been any better) . JMO

I wonder if the "alternate ending"/ Blanchard Park Showdown story will come into play.

That, including this ridiculous defense (actually more ridiculous the second time I watched it) would make 3 CaseyWorld scenarios that I know of. And wasn't there a time when the A's were under the impression that some band of criminals had Caylee or knew something, and Casey couldn't speak of them because doing so would risk everyone's lives? Anyone remember something to that effect?

Oh, my head.

if the trash dried out and didn't smell any more, wouldn't the same be said about the trunk?

ARRRGGHHHH! JB talks and talks and makes no sense!

(sorry for the rant)

I re-watched "some" of JB's Opening Statement ... and it is LAUGHABLE ! :floorlaugh:

And it took him LONGER than the 3 MINUTES in his OS to tell us what why his client is "innocent" ...

So right off the bat, JB lied ... he FAILED ... he said over and over "in the first 3 minutes you will hear the truth" ...

:waitasec:

I am still waiting to hear the TRUTH ... and I am STILL waiting to hear HOW in the world Kronk got Caylee's body in his possession after the drowning ...

JB's OS ... pure desparation !!

I just got home, turned on the tv as I walked through the living room....and heard JB's voice. Thank goodness it was at the end of his opening statement so I didn't have to listen to more of his dribble again.

At the end JB says he wants the jury to 'end this nightmare' and 'send her home'. No problem. Since it appears she no longer HAS a home (at least I'm assuming TL no longer wants her sleeping over and George/Cindy will tell her to find someplace else to live), again, no problem. We'll even be happy to provide one for her, JB. Her new address is the Orlando jail. Anyone have that address handy to send to JB so he can document in his file?

Yep! ICA kept hinting in the jail tapes that she was "protecting" the family from harm from some unknown source, kept telling CA< GA and I believe LA, too, that she wanted them to leave it alone, but that she was fearful for them, too..... :loser:

I didn't realize the first time how much Jose blamed on law enforcement . Glossing over the fact that it all could have been stopped instantly if only his client had told the police the "truth" of an accident . As if Casey was railroaded . I am sure the jury picked up on that . They have to be thinking "if it was an accident someone would have called 911 . It's her little girl ..what difference would it make if her dad said no ..motherly instinct would take over ..if you have any .

I caught the replay on HLN, I had watched it online before. I found it more ridiculous the second time around, and I wouldn't have thought that possible. During the week after, the State blows most of Jose's opening statements out of the water. :floorlaugh:

Impression left with this time: that Casey sat in jail for over two years over an accident? Jose is saying, this is not a murder :nono: this was an accident. Shouldn't he, as an attorney have done something about that? Is it okay for a attorney to let his client stay in jail for years on suspicion of murder when they know it was an accident? And, if Casey is as fragile as Jose wants us to believe, isn't he even more responsible? :innocent:

And it made me furious to hear Jose say that Roy Kronk was a "morally bankrupt man." When that is exactly how to describe his client, ICA-and after including the work a day man who found the remains into this nightmare, he can use to describe himself. :cow:

NO MATTER WHAT this alleged abuse... the 'LOOK WHAT YOU DID...' is so unbelievable on its own, let alone, coming from a retired Detective!! as much as we are supposed to be the following scenario in part... I AM LOOKING AT MY DROWNED DAUGHTER, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO BOTHER DIALING 911 AND MY DAD ISNT PERFORMING CPR.... if this were any bit true.. the odds of successfully resucitating a child as young and as recently 'drowned', quick actions, would most likely have saved such a life.. that is... if this did happen... so, no actions were taken by either maternal mother and grandfather??? THAT goes beyond plausible and THAT, mr baez.. THAT, is nothing but fairytale......

The question might be, however, is when did Casey tell JB it was an accident?

the reporters are following the timeline and going on the same path as tracked by pings...as well as follow her claimed actions as stated by ICA to police!! omg.. me and my wife went to these places yesterday just for the heck of it.. to put a bit of realism to what we have been following for 3 years....<modsnip>... this hln trail of casey is awesome!!
