Exactly. They are VERY motivated to find cop killer but not so motivated to find a prostitute killer. IMO

One life should be AS valuable as the next. IMO

Since the cops have not much say in the reward policy, while the people deciding about rewards are not regular cops who get shot ... unlikely

While I agree they should be given same priority. When u start killing policemen, u get elevated to a whole nother level. Even if the LISK was killing businessmen, the cop spree killer would be given precedent.

Well, Orange County caught themselves an SK with a reward just last year. That guy was killing panhandlers. So you can't go for the "social value" theory. The difference seems to be rather the IQ of the leading officers.

He has killed 3 cops recently so this is a big threat to our law enforcement system He has threatened to kill more cops. To me that is a far different scenario than a SK killing people every once in awhile. I actually don't think it means the life of a cop is more valuable than anyone else just that there is an immediate threat to cops in that area and because of that they can gather a high reward.

Killing prostitutes is the same as killing drug dealers. Although they do not deserve to be killed....killing a civil servant in particular cops does not fly with LE
The laws are stricter in some places for killing a cop.

I'm gonna step away from this topic now. It's nothing but trouble.

They spent several millions without result ... on the other hand, SKs have been caught with a lot less effort, just by getting information out and involve the public. So ... IQ related?

- The attorney for the girl, Robert Pedroli, says she was a runaway in 2009 and met a woman who persuaded her to become a prostitute.
- That woman paid to advertise the girl for sex on Backpage.com, according to the lawsuit.
- The suit claims Backpage.com knew that prostitution was being facilitated through the Web site.

Its funny, hawshaw and I used to rip each others throats out. We have made amends and speak to each other failry regularily on WS. Once in a very blue moon we will speak on the phone. I have alot of respect for that guy. He has seen some nasty **** in his day. But he managed to raise a nice family and lives a very nice life now.
