BBM--Well DGC, let me put it this way...computer storage capacity (space) started out being measured in megabytes, which then became gigabytes, and now we have terabytes. A Terabyte is approximately one trillion bytes, or 1,000 Gigabytes of computer storage space.

Zach put his head down when the judge started to read the rape charges, Dylan was gulping like crazy when the rape charges were being read. JA was toned down quite a bit but feel it's because he was told to do so, not that he wanted to. He also packed on some pounds since he was last in public. Just what I observed while watching them today.

The state has announced it will pursue the death penalty for all three men charged in the kidnapping and murder of Holly Bobo.

Zach Adams, Dylan Adams and Jason Autry all pleaded not guilty to their charges when they were arraigned in court on their new indictment on Wednesday morning.

Court adjourned for the three suspects in the Holly Bobo murder case shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday in Decatur County.

All three men have been charged with rape, kidnapping, and murder following an indictment handed down in May.

Not guilty pleas were entered for every count for each man.

3 defendants in Holly Bobo case face death penalty if convicted

Suspects Jason Autry, Zachary Adams and his brother John Dylan Adams appeared in Decatur County Circuit Court this morning to be arraigned on additional charges in the case. All three were charged in revised indictments last month with premeditated murder, and murder in the perpetration of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape of Holly Bobo. They are pleading not guilty.

The new indictments replace previous indictments that charged Autry and Zachary Adams with murder and kidnapping and John Dylan Adams with rape.

All three men are now charged with three counts of first degree murder, three counts of aggravated rape and two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping. The state filed notice and intent to seek death penalty against all three on Wednesday.

The court will now need to appoint additional lawyers for Zachary Adams and Dylan Adams with death penalty experience.

Autry now wants to be declared indigent to help pay for his defense. A hearing date has been set for him for August 26, and it is expected to deal with an anticipated motion to dismiss filed by his attorney.

Dylan Adams also asked to be declared indigent.

Nichols told the court that material shown in a TV news story last week has not been provided to her. Earlier in the hearing, the judge was upset about the report that showed otherwise not public documents.

“When you talk about the ultimate punishment there is a heightened sense of due process,” Judge McGinley said.

Judge urges State to provide Open Discovery.

Judge to ZA counsel - "won't be able to move at break-neck speed considering new charges. Looking at 180 days."

Zach dismissed, leaving courtroom.

So in other words, they were able to get this case extended by filing new charges. Jesus Christ. Six months??? He urged them to turn over the discovery? He urged them to stop hiding evidence from the defense? He urged them to stop dumping unorganized terabites of discovery on the defense without any clue as to what evidence is actually contained in it and what they're supposed to be looking for. Welcome to America, where your rights don't matter.

Sorry to jump in mid stream. I have followed this case since before I registered and then took a break from it until recently. I have a question tho, and it may been a dumb one, but, can someone tell me why JA was so heavily guarded and in maximum security suit and the other 2 were not?
Also to add, a friend just explained to me that 1 TB can hold 2 million photos.. So, WOW! That is one heck of a lot of info.

Sorry to jump in mid stream. I have followed this case since before I registered and then took a break from it until recently.

I have a question tho, and it may been a dumb one, but, can someone tell me why JA was so heavily guarded and in maximum security suit and the other 2 were not?

Also to add, a friend just explained to me that 1 TB can hold 2 million photos.. So, WOW! That is one heck of a lot of info.

BBM: JA has a lengthy criminal history, and was already in :jail: for an Aggravated Assault conviction.

Also, the ATF has had JA, along with ZA and MP, on their radar since 2010.


ETA: It is "rumored" that JA is a "gang leader" ... oh, but he found religion while in :jail: ... :gaah:

"They're all convicted felons, they've all been to jail, many of them have been to prison, certainly it's based, has roots in the prison system, it wouldn't be hard for me to imagine that's where they at least learned about it and were first inundated in that kind of activity," Fulton said.

Because the truth as we know it thus far is the ONLY FACTUALLY IDENTIFIED VICTIM IN THIS CASE IS HOLLY BOBO and her loved ones.

Furthermore, JMO but it seems that this thread has become a place for commentary on the speculated failings of the American Justice System, as well as abuse of criminal defendants rights, rather than about Holly--which is so disappointing.
