Holly Bobo found deceased, discussion thread *Arrests* #8

I followed this case from reports of Holly’s abduction to the end of the trials but haven’t really visited the thread since then. I have to admit, this case has been the only one on Websleuths that I’ve followed where I was too embarrassed to admit to everyone that I wasn’t quite convinced that those convicted were guilty (don’t throw tomatoes!) And I am not sure why I can’t 100% get on board with it. Obviously my opinion matters not, but just had to throw that out there, now that I’m older and not much embarrasses me anymore 🤣
I feel this way exactly! It’s never sat right with me- I revisit every other year or so, hoping to see some connection I didn’t before and I just fall short every single time.
I do see LE as working hard to keep degenerates off the streets but I personally believe we have yet to find real justice for Holly Bobo :(

It's not just you. While there's no question here that the defendants were scum, I'm not convinced that they were the specific scum who perpetrated this crime. MOO

I have zero doubt the right monsters are in prison.

I agree.
I watched the trial.
The guilty verdict didn’t come from specific evidence, it came from an accumulation of evidence scattered about. Was all the evidence super compelling? No, but I felt it was beyond a reasonable doubt.
At the time he testified, I knew JA was a sketchy guy but his testimony rang true to me. His years later recantation does not. Instead of asking who paid JA to lie at the trial, I’m wondering whose paying JA to lie now.

Just my thoughts on things

I completely agree. I know this sounds bad, but even though I’m not personally 100% convinced that they were the ones who killed Holly, it doesn’t keep me up at night knowing these people are in jail that’s for sure. They are horrible, horrible people. I just wonder if there is an unknown horrible person (people) that should also be put away.

This exactly. There is zero doubt in my mind that these people are exactly where they need to be. I'm just...not sure if there are other(s) well deserving of being in there with them, still roaming the streets.

I've saved pretty much everything from Holly's case. So far I count 2,230 files in the 4 albums, and the 2025 is still growing.

2025 Hearings: Adams asks for a new trial:

2017 Trial:

2014 Pre-trial:

Holly Bobe (main) Case Archive has everything from kidnapping, searches, etc... up to the arrests (and some after):

You are a legend around here, I hope you know that. I know I’m not just speaking for myself when I say that you and @Niner pop up in so many threads that I’ve followed for years. You, still keeping track of case info and Niner, keeping track of court info, for so many people that have threads here. I just am really thankful for the two of you!

As a former (a'hem) outdoors pot grower the 5000 plants seems like a stretch for the backwoods of Tennessee. With the square footage and lights needed, where was he growing inside as he stated? Maybe his selective memory is from smoking weed?

This hearing is absolutely insane to me. Jennifer Thompson is basically giving testimony about how she was depressed cause people were mean to her and therefore she was not competent. It seems like this judge is allowing these witnesses to just go every which way in this hearing. Shouldn't their testimony be limited to what's relevant to this hearing? It seems like they are rehashing all the decisions, choices, events, personal issues etc that took place leading up to the trial & during the trial. The defense is relitigating facts and the witnesses are complaining about the evidence/witnesses.

Oh it looks like the judge has closed the courtroom now for some questins about Dylan Adams. This is crazy to me. I can't understand why they are relitigating the entire case.
