I won't donate to the Hope for Hailey organizations period.

I will however donate to the reward fund.

Too many words flying around as to where the donations are truly going and fraternization with POI's, blah, blah, blah.

Hi guys-I am trying to run down whether or not they are a legal entity right now. I will let you know. The banker who established the fund is supposed to call me back-they have not filed with the Chamber of Commerce, the County Clerk's Office, the Secretary of States Office, or the IRS...so far that is.

Now, they may not have to file until the fund gets to a certain amount so dont assume that this means there is malfeasance on their part.

IMO and bash away if you must.....that site needs to be shut down. It has become nothing but a distraction. That is what happens when you appear to be behind a veil of secrecy. It was like pulling teeth to get them to say who their board of directors were.

The language on this site keeps changing. If you donate you should know who is handling your money and where it is going.

I agree - award fund only for now - or perhaps just keep our money for Hailey when she comes home......and I pray it won't be to help cover funeral costs.:sigh:

Gawd these people are so so so, I can't even say the word without getting in trouble. It's like having my daughter back in jr/high school with all the DRAMA and everybody seems to LIE

Please tell us where she is.......Hailey come home..

Just wanted to note that the BOD for the Hope For Hailey officical site. I don't recall the first person, but the other two are a mother/daughter team and search(ers) for HD. I found the last paragraph interesting...first I read it was today.

The Hope for Hailey/Hailey's Search fund has a board of directors made up of three people:
1) Bill Markunas
2) Glenda Turner
3) Kristy Lloyd
The board of directors are in charge of maintaining the fund and ensuring that none of the money is misappropriated.

Hailey's Search is a part of Hope for Hailey, and is headed by the board of directors. All searches are conducted in a safe, legal manner. Detailed records are kept of areas searched, and they are turned over to law enforcement so that they can follow up on anything found.

Everyone involved with Hope for Hailey or who participates in Hailey's Search does so on a strictly VOLUNTARY basis. All time and labor is donated. No one is compensated for their time, or reimbursed for gas, or personally benefits in any way from the money in Hailey's fund.

When Hailey is found, any money left in the fund will be used to pay for expenses including, but not limited to her rescue, transport from place found accompanied by her family, and any expenses resulting from the ordeal of having been taken away from her family, abducted, kidnapped, or secreted. The fund will also pay for expenses which include, but are not limited to any medical provider, hospital, counselor, doctor, therapist, psychological care, and/or treatment, as well as any final expenses as may be deemed appropriate and in her best interests guided by recommendations of experts in these fields.

This is new language.

Bill Markunas = Search Coordinator and Spokesperson for HFH, besides being on the BOD

http://www.rankwhat.com/?viva=news&Keywords=Bill+Markunas&FORM=QSNR1

All three of the Board of Directors are searchers.

If the mother of this missing child was not a POI then I would have no problem with her friends and associates searching.

In that she is a POI, her organization, the one she is affiliated with has NO business searching. NONE. She is still connected to the only named SUSPECT in this case of her daughter's disappearance.

This site should not be accepting tips of any kind. NONE They need to go to LE.

The reward fund is being Handled by Pete Kampher is my understanding. Through the City.

"The news last week was like a kick below the belt,' said Bill Markunas, spokesman and volunteer for the group. "It is hard to tell whether it affected the search directly — we are more than three months out on the case."

Board of Directors of the HOPE FOR HAILEY SITE HOLDING THE CARWASH?

They can blame Pete Kampher's announcement all they want for the lack of volunteers. I personally believe that people have caught on that this is a tight group of people trying to control things down there, all associated to Billie Dunn who are running THE HOPE FOR HAILEY SITE, and searchers are not getting involved for that reason.

A good default list for tips, if someone is not comfortable calling local LE. If you are located in an area outside of one of these areas, or prefer internet access for a tip: www.cybertipline.com .

I think this is part of the reason for the radio announcement warning the searchers...along with the possible Boyd connection...so to speak.

Results of the research that our Moderator Believe conducted.

At the present time the group is not an organized non profit corporation. They have not filed anything with the State, County or Chamber of Commerce organizing as such.

They are not a non-profit organization. The only thing the group has is an EIN number. Tax ID number.

I'm not casting aspersions on anyone who is handling the funds, but at the present time they are collecting donations without a charter to govern use of those funds. They can effectively decide to use it for anything. I think there are some well meaning people who are now realizing they didn't organize correctly.

All I can recommend is that you donate at your own risk. These donations are not tax deductable.

Thank You Believe for doing this research. :blowkiss:

Search Group Explains Hailey Dunn Merchandise Sales

The group behind t-shirts being sold to raise awareness about missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn sent out a statement detailing where proceeds for shirt sales are being spent.
Kristy Lloyd says money made from merchandise sales goes directly into the Hailey's Search fund set up at the City National Bank in Colorado City.

Perhaps ask Hailey's Angels if they have been given any money to search! I bet they say no.

So tell me if a part of these donations go to searchers, what searchers?
