How did TH lure Kyron out of the school and into a vehicle? (possible theories)

  • #21
Another theory might be that Terri told Kyron that they would go to the Science Fair and then take him to Desiree's earlier than originally planned. (he was supposed to go AFTER school)

Maybe Kyron was told not to tell Dad but Desiree had the day off and as a treat, Terri would let him skip school and go on his planned fishing trip earlier. Kyron would want to go to the Science Fair...Kaine would be suspicious if the project wasn't dropped off..so Terri had to go there first.

Kyron might have been told that wither Terri or DeDe or both would be taking him.

Maybe, he would "sneak out" and jump in the car. All this drama would appeal to a Little Guy and certainly be a reason he would keep a secret.

Just speculating...

No need to sneak around. She just told him to meet her at the truck in 5 minutes. she made sure someone saw her leave. Even if he left with her, there were so many folks there, they did not know / think anything odd about a little boy leaving with his "mom."

Since he left w/o his backpack, he was likely told he would return to school later.

Where was Kyron's jacket ? I am wondering if he never actually left the school with anyone. At least not while he was alive....

Interesting...But, IIRC,the project wasn't taken to the school on the morning of 6/4.

Yes, you are correct. Thank you.

But Kyron would most likely still want to attend the fair. And might complain to Kaine about missing it...even if promised he was going to get to skip school and start his fishing trip earlier.

This way, Terri promises that Kyron gets to do all the things that would excite him....the science fair and then off to Mom's! And chances are very good he would keep his secret that he was going to be able to skip school with StepMom's help.

I like this theory, but would revise it. I don't think Kyron had to "keep the secret" very long. She probably took him to school like everything was normal, then presented the plan toward the end of the science fair. She couldn't take a chance on him telling anybody.

I think she just told him to meet her at the truck for a doctor's appt. But, honestly I don't think there was a lot of coaxing on her behalf. I think he trusted her and would have willingly gone with her even if she gave him no reason.

Yes. But the only problem -- and IMO it is a major one-- is that not a soul can place Kyron outside of Skyline Elementary. With or without TH. What is perplexing to me is this : how on earth was Kyron taken from the school ? If he was murdered in the school ( by anyone), how was his body taken out ?

Snip by me....
I agree... and I think while he left to "meet her outside" she made sure people saw her leave out another door without Kyron.

Do we have reports of witnesses seeing her leave w/o Kyron?

Because I think it would be a little risky to depend on him to leave on his own. He could easily have been stopped and questioned, especially if seen going toward an exit.

But if she were leaving hand-in-hand with him, she could keep a lookout and wait until no one was in view before ducking out the side entrance with him.

So, if anything, I think she might have told him to look around and meet her somewhere *inside* the building (at the bottom of the staircase, for example). That way witnesses might have seen him alone at some point. But I'm not even sure that much happened.

Just my speculation.

After the presser on Wednesday, the theory has gained strength that he exited through the side door (near the soccer field) and walked (with TH, in my opinion) along that path that is hidden from the view of the school and met the truck which is supposed to have been parked on that access road that connects with the path.

Looking at gwenabob's photos, that side door is even somewhat hidden from view within the school, such that someone could exit through it without necessarily being seen, if they wanted to.

I think the doctor's appointment was for the school, not Kyron. I think she lured him out by saying he was going to get a special treat for doing so well and he'd be out of school for the rest of the day. ...

I agree with those who say she wouldn't need to lure him in any way. The beauty of telling him it was for the doctor's appointment is that in the event anyone DID see her attempting to leave with him and asked why, should could always use the same story she told the teacher and all would mesh. The plan would have to be postponed, but she'd have a cover story that Kyron couldn't invalidate. JMO

As him "Mom" I don't think she'd have to "lure" him at all, he'd go willingly regardless of what she said. MOO

"Kyron, go ahead a look around for a minute, then meet Aunt DeeDee and I at the side parking lot so I can take you to your appointment"
...ya think?
I feel like Kyron knew he wasn't staying at school that day, he knew he had a few minutes to look around then he was to meet Terri at the truck and leave...maybe he was told he had a Dr. appt and that's where he thought he was going. Maybe he was told he would be back in time for the talent show.

Works for me. :)

Not only, but being at the science fair and supposedly leaving him there is a huge part of TH's supposed alibi. She has witnesses and photos proving she was there with him. Then she left him in the trusted care of the school, and never saw him again. Science fair day, with all it's chaos and many people milling around, is the ideal day to set this up.

According to TH's email to her friend, the jacket and backpack were still at the school after his disappearance. (No clue where they are now--evidence locker?)

I believe Kyron new about his Dr. appt. I would assume told to him by Terry, that they would only be at the school for a while, for him to get his pict. taken with his exhibit and tour the fair. I still think and have for quite some time, she merely walked out with him in tow.

That's what I think. "Time to go to your appointment now." He might have even thought he'd be back before the formal start of classes that day at 10:00. It would be a perfect time to schedule an appointment, because he already had a chance to see the exhibits and wouldn't be missing class.

I dont think this child even made it to school. I cannot believe that Kyron and step mom went inside, he posed in front of his project and no one saw them. Not a one.I think she took this picture somewhere else. She probably gave him something tomake him lucid and then took him somewhere and broke his neck. She is an ex-bodybuilder. I could not stand the look on the face of this friend of step mom.

Here's my theory. Ky was shy and maybe didn't want to be in the talent show, so TH told him (perhaps days or weeks before) that if he didn't tell anyone (KH, DY) about the talent show, she'd let him go to the science fair and then they could play hooky together. This would explain why DY and KH didn't know if he was supposed to be in it or not, and why Ky wouldn't have talked about it at home.

Once at the school, TH then tells Ky to meet her outside and to not let anyone see him, or they'd be caught. It would be their big secret outing.

I've been trying to think of how it's possible that Ky was supposed to appear in the talent show yet his mom and dad didn't know anything about it. Since TH was the main school contact, she simply didn't tell DY or KH and got Kyron to keep it a secret too. At least that's my theory today...

Yes, in LE's evidence locker. Hopefully... I mentioned the whereabouts of the jacket on that morning because it was rainy and cool...

respectfully snipped.

I agree 100% that the doctor story was for the school and not Kyron.
Plus whatever she told him, a surprise or something like that....he was told it was a secret and should not tell. Why? Cause children talk. Kyron could have easily said to his friends at school that morning, Oh I am doing to the doctor...or I am going to have a special treat after this.

So either the child was told there was a secret surprise he must not talk to anyone about....or the fact that his things were placed in the class...perhaps he was told AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MINUTE...to go back to the car to bring her something and someone kept him in the car.

What ties really well with this? THE NEED FOR ''UNTRACEABLE'' CELL PHONES. Why they were important? FOR COORDINATION PURPOSES. Otherwise the two women would have agreed on a specific time and place to meet. But having the two cell phones perhaps was so they can coordinate down to the minute when to drive the car on the side and when to tell the child to get out.

Another important things. Terry KNEW INSIDE OUT THE LAYOUT OF THE SCHOOL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE HABITS OF THE TEACHERS-THE STUDENTS-AND THE PARENTS. Where the staff parks, where parents park, where there are BLIND SPOTS - nobody can spot you coming out from the side entrance if people were gathered in specific areas of the school.
PLUS With with one cell phone each they could have been coordinating when to tell the child to get out, the moment nobody inside the school or outside the park was there at the very exact second.

So my question is: DID ANYONE SEE TERRI TALKING ON THE PHONE THAT MORNING INSIDE THE SCHOOL PERHAPS? That would be interesting...

IMO

All theories posted are excellent, thank you, but I am literally sick to my stomach thinking about her evil diabolical tactics and what her plans really were for a precious little innocent child who trusted her..JMO..
