Great point, I had forgotten my own theory that JB couldn't have been involved or they would have done it while they were still in his employ so he could claim attorney/client privelege. But I still think they intended to move it.

my greatest question is WHY DID DC LEAVE THE EMPLOY OF THE DEFENSE TO WORK FOR THE ANTHONY'S.....which is almost exactly to the T the SAME TEAM????!!! I bet you a jar of toothpicks (the good kind) that JB encouraged this.. which is different from directed or ordered. At some point in this I bet that DC was complicit and drinking the punch (screw the koolaid verbage).

Reasons to find the body:

To make sure it wasn't findable to further the fundraising cause and boost the defense case

To move it to a better spot

To find it and pin the crime on someone else

To find it to remove incriminating evidence that would lead back to Casey or the A's. ie; LE's rush back to the A's to declare their house a crime scene

More reasons to find body:

. For reward money
. To make sure KC paid for her crime because you knew she was guilty
. Because you loved the child and wanted her found

My money is on George or Lee wanting the body found.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's lawyer won't have to fight for his laptop.

Jose Baez is supposed to go to court Tuesday asking to see more evidence from investigators (read all motions). He was also going to ask for special permission to bring his laptop to the jail when he visits Casey.

But Monday, the jail told Eyewitness News it has suddenly changed its laptop policy. They will allow private attorneys to carry in their computers starting next month.

Someone else pointed out DC could have been to be paid by donations to the A's. You know what a penny pinching guy JB is.

Then why not call LE and let LE handle it? ITA, that the A's may have wanted the body found, but they also wanted something incriminating removed before LE got there. JMO of course. That would be a good reason not to call LE before searching.

ETA: I believe the reward fund was nominal and only about 5K through crimestoppers. The original 200K reward was only for finding a live Caylee and it was withdrawn month's ago.

Maybe the plan was for DC to call LE if he found Caylee and him for him to say he was merely working a hunch. Which we now know is not true. The A's could have wanted that body found, but needed someone else there first so anything that pointed at Casey could be removed before notifying LE.

But how about the statement that Padilla alleges that JH made to him about they were going to go get her?

IMO, it went like this: Baez to Casey: "Look, you've got to level with me, if they find the body, you're toast, if not, you may get an acquittal, either way I need to know if it is findable, i.e., in an obvious place that may be stumpled upon or fed to the gators." All of her attempts at leading Lee to the body fail. She fesses up to Baez, Baez sends the PI's, maybe he can get there first. No chance, flooded, remains will be too scattered to collect. PI's tip someone off, perhaps meter reader, they can't live with themselves knowing this info. Baez is screwed. He knows it's only a matter of time. These guys are going to crack.

So maybe that was the purpose of the tape. They couldn't find Caylee so with a tape of where they searched they may have been hoping KC could have given them more direction.

I guess it would be a good question to find out when they began working with them, because the docs I remember that were put out by the press, did not have any checks to PI's.

I don't think DC quit, or got fired or anything else but sent to the A's by JB himself. I doubt that these people filled out any resume's, applications, W2's or any other kind of employment papers to verify any dates. I doubt there are any pay stubs to prove salary-perhaps there are checks from the Baez firm that would be considered a paycheck.
I think any dates, allegiances,employer/employee priveledges are highly suspect! IMO

Sort of makes you wonder if this is why CA is on the LP roll again with his not being invited to the memorial. I mean LP did search for Caylee you would think the A's would be greatfull far all info to be brought to light . unless you have something to hide that is. Or you thought you could make a few more bucks if it were not found out jmo

Something just keeps hinting to me that LA was involved in this somehow. LA was the one who she seemed to have been giving coded messages to. LA was the one her father said she was closest to. G&C seemed to be turning to him more and more as time went by.

JB was passing messages, the A's talked about that. Perhaps LA said he wanted to send a file to KC and JB didn't ask what it was for.... then LA would be the one to pass the info to the PI's. But at some point JB had to have become aware of this, maybe the reason that the PI's didn't get better info was because JB found out what was happening and shut it down. He had one thing to trade the prosecution, and that was the location of the remains.

The reward money would be a small part of what the finder would actually get. There would be media deals.

Maybe GA or LA didn't want to deal with LE because it would alienate/upset Cindy? If the body were found another party without their involvement it would keep the peace and perhaps keep the info about their involvement out of the trial? Just guessing. Whoever the PI was talking to is the answer.

So you are saying when this info came out and the PI's were talking too much, that JB gave the date he terminated their employment with him as a cover for himself? I think it would have been easier to claim they were still employed by him and claim attorney/client privelege. Then LE couldn't interview them.
