Rest your heart. Jesus didn't take her little life. He just knew that it would be on this day that He would welcome her home. She is now safe, loved beyond measure and protected from any further harm.

We are all given the freedom to choose. It was KC that made a decision to poison Caylee (I believe it happened more than just once) and to end the life of the precious gift that she had been so graciously given. The precious gift that she was to love and protect.

Psalm 128:3 - Children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

Children are indeed an inheritance from the Lord! Maybe we should wait until the totality of evidence is heard though so long as there is even a slight possibility there was negligence ie drowning involved. In that case, KC may never find the courage to admit this, may rather face the death penalty than face her mother with the truth. But perhaps we should avoid condemning her before she even has a trial. JMO

So this is about money?

No, it is not about money, but he has evidently spent MUCH MORE searching for Caylee than they have searching for her. Something about that speaks loudly as to the real devotion to the child.

She is part of them?

Why were they not thinking about that when they let their lying, stealing, psychopathic daughter leave with her? They were not concerned then were they?

They were not concerned enough to find her before 31 days were they?

They were not concerned enough to even talk to or meet the alleged babysitter in years were they?

They didnt "let" Casey leave with her.. Casey was her mother, she could leave with her when she wanted to..They had no legal guardianship over Casey or Caylee!

Regarding them not concerned enough to find her before 31 days.. Umm, they spoke with Casey all the time, didnt think anything was wrong.. I have a child and went a month without seeing my parents.. Don't think that it's a big deal that they weren't hunting me down..

My parents have never met my babysitter.. No need too..

I don't think a memorial to Caylee is about comfort for strangers. We all do care and feel as though we are attatched to this little girl but we should have compassion for her family who are deteriorating before our very eyes in their attempt to deny their greif. Caylee doesnt need us to comfort her, she is at peace. A memorial should not be forced on the people who need comfort the most.

NO ONE IS FORCING them to do anything.

I have NO sympathy or compassion left for them. Sorry.........fresh out.

I personally want them charged for conspiring to conceal and destroy evidence, and I believe they will be.

No they couldn't stand her, they were hoping this would happen... to get their 15 minutes..... they hating taking pictures of her, they hated having to watch her, they were getting sick and tired of the little snot nose, so they helped get rid of her !

Sound stupid doesn't it???

Which was LOST totally!!! That man has at least $100,000 and likely more invested in finding little Caylee and if he wants to have a service, then MORE POWER TO HIM..........because the way I see it - That will most likely be the ONLY recognition that child ever has.

Actually that Money was not totally lost....LP's Nephew Tony "Made it" for posting the bond - I asked Tony Padilla myself if he any arrangements with his Uncle Leonard to return the 50k to him & his response was ....

"No, that would be against the Law"

Sure.....We're supposed to believe that?

That is a really great point. My parents nor my husbands parents have ever met my babysitter either. They haven't seen any pictures of her and they have only heard her name less than a handful of times. Her name is Candie by the way...and I promise it isn't a code name for "pills". Her name really is Candie :)

Were your parents supporting you and your child? That's a different story. The GPs knew she had nowhere to live with Caylee but their home. Even if they believed Caylee was with the bbsitter alot, they also had to suspect they were squatting around town from place to place. This, IMO was a battle of "who will cave first" between kc and CA. CA holding the $ card, and kc holding the Caylee card. The GPs still to this day have not answered the call to help Caylee and do what's in her best interest.

There was a pattern of wreckage and pathological behaviors following KC like a tornado. She even stole the $4,000 GA gave her to deposit in his bank account then evidently forged a receipt. Then when caught, she claimed someone held her up and CA would not let GA call the police. This girl was NOT a fit mother and CA had said that time after time.

They had a responsibility to PROTECT CAYLEE from this woman and they refused, which caused her demise.

To compare her to yourself is not appropriate.........evidently you have a real job, support yourself, do not mooch off your parents and expect your parents to provide for all your child's needs.

Are you sure she's not a stripper! J/K!

Glad to see your back ! :blowkiss:

I really believe this is a question of etiquette. I don't think a death certificate has been issued yet. As such, it is not appropriate to have a memorial service for Caylee. A vigil, yes, but not a memorial service until the death certificate is issued. Think about it. Have you EVER heard of anyone holding a funeral or memorial service for someone BEFORE they were declared dead and a death certificate was issued? The police saying they BELIEVE Caylee is dead is not the same as an issued death certificate based upon a preponderance of the evidence. Once Caylee is declared dead based on the proper evidence and a death certificate is issued, then having a memorial service is fine. To me, it's just a question of following the proper etiquette. Holding the memorial service at this time will appear to be a rush to judgement. That is not the way the American Justice System works. My recommendation to anyone thinking of doing this (are your reading this Leonard Padilla?) is to not do it. It is simply NOT appropriate.

For those of you who are wondering, nowadays, it is possible to get a death certificate for a murder victim based upon physical evidence. Waiting years to get a death certificate when a body has not been found is no longer necessary, particularily when there is no one who will benefit from the estate of the deceased.
I happen to know someone that did plan a memorial service for a loved one within days of the attack on the World Trade Center. They didn't have a body and I very much believe they didn't request a death certificate. They needed to come together with friends and family. Some may have thought it was too soon...but who can judge. If they needed comfort at that horrific time, then that's what they needed to have. If people need to come together to grieve for Caylee, I don't think they need anyone's permission or blessing to do so. MO

LP is not Caylee's loved one. I couldn't believe it when I heard him say he was planning a memorial service - it is so not his place.

That is a great response.
It is certainly different when as the parent you are the full support.
:)

You don't see it as a slap in the face to the family of this person to protest a memorial if they felt their loved one may be found alive??
To write them off like that ??

The bond was NOT posted by his nephew........it was posted by a bonding company out of Florida and LP lost his $50,000.

LP actually believed CA & KC to begin with, and that is where he was wrong. He was taken in by all the lies because the GP's continued the lie with KC.

I understand what you are saying, however they still had no legal rights to them.. Which could be why CA wanted custody.. They just can't take it upon themselves to take Caylee away from Casey without a court order!

During the 31 days, they obviously werent supporting her.. They thought she had a job..

And maybe what they were trying to do when they were supporting Casey is protect Caylee.. Everyone is saying that CA enabled Casey.. But yet, she had a responsibility to protect Caylee.. Maybe that's what she was doing, and not realizing it.. If she didn't support Casey, and argued with Casey or fought with her, then Casey would have taken Caylee away from CA..So maybe CA just thought she was protecting Caylee..

Maybe Caylee is being protected right now..

IMO..

Oh he's been wrong many times since too !
