How do you feel about the memorial service planned for Caylee?

LP said the tree was surrounded by water when the cross was found. That pointy looking green stuff is the oddest looking water I've ever seen.

That is when it was flooded. The entire area all the way across the roads was flooded.

The cross is IDENTICAL to one KC made while out on bond the first time. That is why LP thought it had significance and why it evidently was taken down after being reported.

My guess is the body was moved too.

Thanks for your honest answer Vickiev...I just guess that if I was Cindy, I might have tearfully asked him to consider postponing it because to me it would symbolize giving up hope that Caylee might be alive and that I am just not ready to do that yet. That it would be terrbly difficult for my family and me.

I would NOT stomp up to the man with my overbearing screaming banshee ways and demand anything! You may be right about the feelings but once again she has proven to have no "appropriateness" herself. You can't muscle people into doing what you want in life and consider yourself successful. She would have had a better chance of success in her endeavor by using a little couth and ASKING for some sympathy and compassion! IMO LP is human ya know -

But CA is human too.. He has hurt them so much by his words.. He has said some pretty bad things (remember, incest?)..I just know that I would despise him so much if I were her, and it would be a SLAP in the face for him to hold a memorial for her.. THE FIRST MEMORIAL?? All others were "vigils"..It is so inappropriate, IMO!

I agree with TxLady2 and would add another thought to that. I don't think you should do a sacred thing like a memorial out of spite. I know not everyone would look at it from a religious perspective like I do, but to me it's almost like how can you come before a god of love in good conscience with "na na na, I'll show those nasty crazy Anthonys they're wrong" in your own heart? JMO

I really don't think that's why it is being done. Caylee has pulled at our heart strings. We want so badly to hold her. We can't hold her, we can't blow bubbles in the wind with her or take her to feel the snow for the first time.
What we can do is come together as a group, to cry together, to hug, to mourne.

We can also send a message that no child is ever alone & to seek justice for the ones who can not.

Something I found exceedingly interesting today in that whole "show" was when CA did her big crying jag, just like KC.........there was NEVER a tear.

Is that learned how to act like you are crying and never cry a real tear?

Where did you get the information that the cross is identical to one that Casey made? To my knowledge, no one has claimed that. LP said the cross disappeared after being photographed during the search in August when the area was flooded. This area is NOT flooded. There are no searchers. The cross looks freshly made.

Something is not right here.

You are going to wait until a body is found before you can declare her dead?! That is the legal definition of declaring someone as dead...there IS no body!! You don't even have to wait 7 years of them going missing if there is adequate proof they are indeed dead. There is proof that Caylee is dead and her mother is charged with that death. A judge could legally declare her dead right now on the evidence provided to get that charge!

LP is searching and that's good, but he went into the family home and was defending Casey at first. So many different things have been said since on national television. To have a memorial is in memory of a person who is dead and for LP to host it and invite Rev. Grund who hates Cindy and George to preach or pray at Blanchard Park where it's said to the world that is where Caylee was dumped is what is not appropriate IMO. Things like this could make Casey even more stubborn and never talk or tell anything, not that she is ever very likely to anyway. It also keeps George and Cindy so torn up that all they want to do is defend themselves and Casey instead of getting to the point of truth.

I don't think any kind of memorial should be done until is has been proven that Caylee is deceased. When, and if, that happens it should be the right of the family to hold it.

Ridiculous Event to give tribute to a child that the Grandparents will not even look for, the mother refuses to tell LE where she is and the father is awol, the only loving Family at this point it seems is America and if America wants to memorialize this precious child because her family refuses to do so then I say for LP to go for it. LP has shown more love, respect and concern for Caylee than her own family, ridicule is not in order.

We don't know that all of that is not the truth yet. The Anthonys seem to have a deep aversion to the TRUTH............

So what if it was incest?.........is that a reason not to honor the child and tell the absolute truth about it? That baby had no fault in anything except being born into the wrong family.
