How do you feel about the memorial service planned for Caylee?

I seriously hope that no-ones family member gets ill and some "friends" want to hold a memorial for them before they are pronounced dead. Just wondering if you would attend?

Not really a bad idea.. My Mom always told us kids "Send me flowers while I'm alive won't do me a durn bit of good when I'm dead."

They already proved the child is gone........all they have to prove now is her mother did it.

It will be less than 2 months now until all of this will be over and the lies will end. I thank God for that.

Where did you get the information that the cross is identical to one that Casey made? To my knowledge, no one has claimed that. LP said the cross disappeared after being photographed during the search in August when the area was flooded. This area is NOT flooded. There are no searchers. The cross looks freshly made.

Something is not right here.

He also said that 2 crosses were purchsed at JC penny on Cindy's card

I was thinking that maybe Casey used the crosses from JC Penny & added her own touch to them bui the cross in that Photo is "entirerly" made by hand.

I still don't see how the crosses from JC penny fit into this

Caylee has not been pronounced dead.
It has not been accepted as fact by a jury of Casey's peers.
And the family has not accepted it as fact at this point.

If my husband was missing, and I either truly held out a shred of hope that he was alive or was apparantly mentally unstable and unable/unwilling to accept it and a non family member had a memorial, not a vigil or prayer gathering, for my spouse you would get very unflattering video of me as well.

I think it is in poor taste at a very emotional point in the case and accomplishes nothing. It is not bringing peace to anyone. It is upsetting the family and the searchers by pouring gas on the fire. Which brings more attention, more cameras, and more interviews.

We don't know that all of that is not the truth yet. The Anthonys seem to have a deep aversion to the TRUTH............

So what if it was incest?.........is that a reason not to honor the child and tell the absolute truth about it? That baby had no fault in anything except being born into the wrong family.

Our family would have cherished and adored that child.

I do not believe that if a trial had concluded and Casey was convicted of murdering a dead Caylee, that under those circumstances Cindy would have behaved any differently. Casey would still be a good mother, Caylee would be sighted during the post-murder-conviction memorial service, and lest I forget, LE planned this from day one.

You are going to wait until a body is found before you can declare her dead?! That is the legal definition of declaring someone as dead...there IS no body!! You don't even have to wait 7 years of them going missing if there is adequate proof they are indeed dead. There is proof that Caylee is dead and her mother is charged with that death. A judge could legally declare her dead right now on the evidence provided to get that charge!

Steve Fossett was declared dead before his body was found because logically there was no thinking any other way. Sometimes are hearts don't want to believe what our head knows is true.

I don't think any kind of memorial should be done until is has been proven that Caylee is deceased. When, and if, that happens it should be the right of the family to hold it.

Ok...we seem to go around and around with this. If we call it something different, would it be ok then? There are people down there in Orlando who would like to do SOMETHING. Think of them as first responders. They may actually NEED to do something. Let them handle this in their own way.

:clap::clap: I think Caylee deserves a wonderful memorial. I also do not think the Anthony's DESERVE to be there. I suppose they will show up and cause more trouble than they did today.
I did have some sympathy for George when I heard his tapes, NO MORE.
Now, I think he was PLAYING LE. After watching them today at the dive, I am convinced they all know where Caylee is. I heard all of it was taped. I can't wait till they show it in court.
KC sits in jail, reading, ordering snacks. Her baby is out there some where & mom & dad are still fighting her battles.

I won't even begin to describe how I feel about this family. I am sure most of you know & feel the same way.

Err - none, I guess. After all, it took 31 days (if not longer) for this family to even report her missing. Unless, of course, you are like the majority, who would like to see her buried with love and dignity as soon as possible.

LP is searching and that's good, but he went into the family home and was defending Casey at first. So many different things have been said since on national television. To have a memorial is in memory of a person who is dead and for LP to host it and invite Rev. Grund who hates Cindy and George to preach or pray at Blanchard Park where it's said to the world that is where Caylee was dumped is what is not appropriate IMO. Things like this could make Casey even more stubborn and never talk or tell anything, not that she is ever very likely to anyway. It also keeps George and Cindy so torn up that all they want to do is defend themselves and Casey instead of getting to the point of truth.

That is the most apprpriate place as KC herself stated it is Caylee's favorite park.
KC is never going to talk..ever...she had her chance when LP got her out of jail the first time..she said not a thing.

The A's led the Grund family to believe they were the Father and Grandparents of this precious baby, (That was cruel and a lie) then a paternity test was done showing that there was no blood relationship but the Grunds did not turn their back like they could have and most would have. Like the good people they are they continued to treat Caylee as their own.

If the A's would quit lying every breath they take it would be easier to be able to quit defending themselves, as for defending KC..she is indefensible, they need to give up.

And if they find her remains, it isn't Caylee. DNA, dental records, and forensics are all wrong. I don't even believe a body would convince Cindy at this stage. She is only going to believe what she wants to. There is no odor, no evidence, no dead Caylee.
