Hulk Hogan's son seriously injured another boy in car wreck

It's a recording of HH and his son Nick talking on the phone from jail... they are talking about the victim that was left a vegetable thanks to Nick drinking and driving and then wrecking. HH pretty much puts blame on the victim by implying that he (the victim) must have done something for god to have laid some "pretty heavy sh*t on that kid" (HH's words). The son proceeds to chime in, as if agreeing, that the victim was a negative person. Then the convo quickly turns to Nick and HH talking about doing a reality show about Nick, at the highest money, in regards of Nick coming out of jail, when he is done with his sentence. It is disgusting to listen to them talk about all of it... from talking ill of the victim, to scheming a reality show in an attempt make big bucks off of the whole situation. (or as Nick called it: a real-ality show)

I just listened to this and I am completely disgusted, these Hogans are just horrible people. Talking about getting a reality show out of this and Nick wanting to go with the most money. Then there is a few tapes after that where Linda is slamming this poor kids mother. She is saying things like the mother cares nothing about her son and is only suing them for the money. This whole disgusting, trashy family is a cancer on society.

Your welcome arielilane, listening to the tapes was completely infuriating. HH telling Nick that John must have really been a bad person for God to put him in this state. Nick agreeing with him saying that John was a negative guy. Then Linda cryng on and on to Nick on the phone saying John's mother didn't care about her son and she is only in it for the money. It was all totally disgracefull. There was another tape I hadn't mentioned yet where Nick is boo hooing to HH about his cell being half the size of his bathroom and please call the judge and talk him into getting Nick Transferred to another jail. Then Nick saying at the hearing to get him transferred we would wear his prison clothes to creat sympathy for himself. It showed him to be a conniving little punk who has no remorse or no real concept of what he has done. Yea the kid might not be liking it in jail but I am sure John would like to be able to get up and walk out of the hospital in 8 months, like Nick will do from jail. Only that never happen.:furious:

I am with you michelle I think we should all organize a letter writting campaign against these people. I can't even begin to explain how sickening and infuriating it was to hear those tapes. It really showed these parents for who they are and how their kid ended up in this position. The worst of it was HH blaming John for the state he is in. Saying that God did it to him because he must have done something really bad in his life. Like his little angel of a kid had nothing at all to do with it.:slap:

If I were the Hogans I would be watching for some lightening bolts from above. What kind of people say things like this? It reminds me of Scott Peterson, blame the vitim, it does not get anymore low then that. These type of people believe they are above the law and no rules apply to them. I would not want to be in their shoes when God judges us.

This whole family is nothing but pure out-and-out- scum... the mother crying on and on, trash talking the parents of the victim... the kid talking about getting out on house arrest and attending a hearing in his jail uniform to get sympathy from the judge.

I have not followed this closely but I am disgusted and disturbed by what I am reading. The Hogans are a menace to society if they are able to disregard the victim and his family this way. Those tapes in a civl court case would be very helpful for the victim's family.

Instead of just supporting and talking to her son and asking if he had learned some lessons, she apparently spends her visiting hours bashing John's mother and father and lamenting that Nick should be with her at the beach or lake...or whereever.

John will never have his life back again. He will never have a chance at anything. How can she presume that John's parents don't love him or care about him? Let's say that they were estranged at this point in their lives? Who's to say that they wouldn't patch things up if given a chance? Can you imagine how bad the parents must feel if they have been distant from their son? They won't ever get the chance to tell him how much they love him and respect him.

Can't this woman, for a moment, put herself in another person's shoes? Pretty pathetic.

They had been footing the bill until the lawsuit came along. HH has spend over a million dollars on John's care. He called in the best specialist his money could buy.

Sadly, no amount of money will help John, IMO. Another Terri Schiavo, IMO. Even his Sister said it was like visiting a dead person without the closure of a funeral. Parahprasing, of course.

I think the whole case is very sad. John and Nick were best friends. The roles could have easily been reversed on that fateful day and it could have been Nick in critical condition with his life altered and John in trouble.

I am glad that Nick took responsibility. His Fathers money could have dragged the criminal charges out for years. But Nick manned up, and threw himself at the mercy of the Judge.

He and his parents can talk all the smack they want now, after the fact, but Nick did the right thing by owning up.

Nick took a plea bargain to avoid the minimum of a 5 year sentence. He owned up for his own selfishness not because it was the right thing to do.
