Hulk Hogan's son seriously injured another boy in car wreck

Guys, there's a silver lining to these horrible things being said about John and his family: It will hopefully ensure that Nick does not get out of his paltry 8 month jail sentence early.

I hope that is the case Paladin! And I hope these tapes help the civil case along too!

I think that the Hogans' Reality show needs to be pulled POST HASTE!!!!

Nick didn't "man up" in any sense of the word. He took the easiest way out. I hope that John's family gets awarded big bucks in the civil case. I seriously doubt HH paid $1 Million dollars for John's care. The insurance company maybe, but not HH out of his own pocket. I do believe he probably did call in the best specialist, after all, he does have connections from his years in wrestling. Just color me skeptical about him paying a million dollars out of his own pocket.

TMZ has learned Hulk Hogan was involved in a car accident on the Bayside Bridge in Florida today.

People on the scene tell TMZ Hogan was driving a Mercedes at the time. We're hearing his daughter Brooke was there and that Linda showed up afterwards, hair in pigtails, looking like she was coming "to the rescue."

A white Mercedes and another car were towed from the scene. No injuries have been reported.

I was sent to a celebrity gossip site with 2 pics of John, post-accident... if you think hearing those tapes make you ill and mad: after seeing those pics of that young man with his head caved in, it gives a whole new and deeper view of what Nick caused for that man and his family.

(I don't know if it is appropriate to post the URL to such graphic shots... they aren't gross images, but they are shocking images)

They had been footing the bill until the lawsuit came along. HH has spend over a million dollars on John's care. He called in the best specialist his money could buy.

Sadly, no amount of money will help John, IMO. Another Terri Schiavo, IMO. Even his Sister said it was like visiting a dead person without the closure of a funeral. Parahprasing, of course.

I think the whole case is very sad. John and Nick were best friends. The roles could have easily been reversed on that fateful day and it could have been Nick in critical condition with his life altered and John in trouble.

I am glad that Nick took responsibility. His Fathers money could have dragged the criminal charges out for years. But Nick manned up, and threw himself at the mercy of the Judge.

He and his parents can talk all the smack they want now, after the fact, but Nick did the right thing by owning up.
They should have been "footing the bill" and nick did not man up to nothing, he could have went to jail alot longer then he is.

I'd like to know how TMZ is getting these phone call tapes, someone in the jail is picking up a nice big pay check and ruining the Hogan's continued success in reality TV. Not that I care or anything, they are the scum of the earth IMO.

I saw those too Elphaba and they were shocking and horrible. I wish I had been more prepared before I saw them, it really shook me up.

That is right michelle this has nothing to do with Nick manning up. He got a sweetheart of a deal and his high priced attorney told him to take it. Now he is sitting in there whinning his cell is too small and he has no window. He seems to think he is at a hotel, not jail.

You are right cali, he did get a sweetheart of a deal compared to the other boy. Atleast nick is able to have a life, family and kids one day.

Now they are reporting Brooke was driving.

Bollea, 20, and a passenger, Laura Chadwell, 23, were northbound on the Bayside Bridge's center lane. A 1997 Toyota driven by Ronald Gallmon, 19, lost control while changing lanes and began to rotate counterclockwise.
The Toyota spun into the center lane and struck the front of Bollea's 2008 Mercedes, which was then pushed into a concrete barrier wall. Witnesses told highway patrol troopers that Gallmon's Toyota was speeding.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, arrived at the scene with his wife, Linda Bollea, to make sure his daughter was OK.

What does this have to do with anything? If I had that kind of money my daughter would be driving a nice car as well.

In her favor, she's not the one that caused the accident... but she did post on her MySpace blog about the accident... what she posted didn't set well with the TMZ people because she referred to John... she has since removed the blog.

I honestly don't know how this young man has "survived" with these injuries. Nick should have paid far more dearly than he did. An incredible injustice has been done, and I'm sure we will be hearing more about him and his dangerous antics in the future. How sad.

Here's the text from her blog.

Seatbelts saved MY life today...

What happened to my brother and our friend John was horrible and very hard for both of our families. But I truly believe my brother and John saved My life and my best friends life.... I don't know if you heard, but my friend and I got into a really bad car accident today ourselves... As I turned on my car I clicked my seatbelt. As we pulled out onto the road, I looked over and realized my friend didn't have her seatbelt on. I reminded her to put it on and the minute she clicked it, a car crashed into us. It was a horrible car accident, one that most would be severely hurt in, but we had our seatbelts on and they kept us in tight. I have to thank my brother and my best friend John for teaching me an important lesson that saved our lives.

I know that because my family is under a microscope, the turn of unfortunate events are magnified and seem like they just keep on coming...And having everyone watching and commenting on our life is extremely hard. If I could stop it I would because it feels terrible. We try to stay away from it but can't help that its shoved in our faces. So please, if youre a supporter, please spread the good around cause its nice to have friends when things go awry. And for the haters, Im sure we're not the only ones you're hurting. I would hope people are never this mean to you because it makes things so much harder......You're human and so are we. Nothing different.

God Bless

~~~Hey this is Brookes friend and passenger, I just wanted to say that Brooke basically saved my life by making me wear my seat belt ....She is such a great friend and a good person! You all should know that! check out what I have to say on my MySpace... I'm on her top friends : La♥La
