Hogan spent the day kibbitzing with fans in the NOPI Drift Racing Booth at the show.
This really ticks me off. Poor John will live the rest of his life paralyzed, while the punk who caused his paralysis goes to races.

Nick Hogan made a very public appearance with fast cars at the big SEMA car show in Las Vegas yesterday, just one day before Florida authorities say his criminal case could be moving forward -- and a short time later, Polaroid, the sponsor of his drift car, dropped him from its roster.

While his pal John Graziano, the former Marine who was critically injured in the souped-up car Hogan crashed on August 26, remains in a coma in Florida, Hogan spent the day kibbitzing with fans in the NOPI Drift Racing Booth at the show.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the case against Hogan could go to the State Attorney as soon as today.

Meanwhile, Nick's dad, Hulk Hogan, spent Tuesday night partying at the Playboy Club in The Palms Hotel.

That's a bit in-your-face as far as Nick's behavior goes. Apparently he didn't learn from his accident, and neither did his father. At least Poloroid is doing the right thing.

Does this mean the tox screen came back positive?

I think he needs to understand how serious this is. Hopefully LE is making that point to him as we speak.

I realize life does go on even after something like this, but your lifestyle doesn't have to.

He was legally drunk.

Thanks, Cheetah. Is that in the article? It's taking forever to open on my pc!

OK, just saw that. :(

I thought it was a little heartless to mention in their most recent statement that Nick was wearing his seatbelt and John wasn't. That seems to me to be in preparation for a defense argument.

I'll keep John and his family in my prayers. So sad.

Not that high, but still legally drunk.....and he's only 17:doh:

I seriously wonder if Nick has shown any type of mercy for the damage he did to his friend John? I highly doubt it!!!!

It is time the spoiled little rich kids of the world be held accountable for there actions. I for one have no mercy on him!!!! My heart is with John & his family. I'd like to know how many times Nick visited him so far?

I thought that was heartless too taximom. I know they are in defense lawyer mode but that was a low blow.

I read that and thought the exact same thing too. Really sad.

That's a shame to see that alcohol was involved. I wonder if John purchased it for him since he was of age.

Glad he was arrested--hope he gets some time for this

John not wearing a seat belt has nothing to do with Nick speeding, drag racing and drinking under age.

I'm disappointed in the Bolea family

Thats right it does have nothing to do with it Class. The statement their lawyer made that the Bolea family will now work to educate the public about the importance of wearing seatbelts, Are these people kidding? John wouldn't be brain damaged if Nick hadn't been drag racing while drinking. What a nerve.

John was also 22. Plenty old enough to buy alcohol for Nick. I'm not saying this is what happened, but it's a possibility. I don't mean disrespect to those who are in comas, but if he served an underage kid alcohol and then jumped in a car with him without a seatbelt, that's pretty much his own doing.

Very true. However, IF John is the one who purchased the alcohol, you can bet NicK's lawyers will jump all over that.

It's a very sad story. I am not too impressed with the Hogan's parenting skills.

I have to agree. I tried to give the Hulkster the benefit of the doubt but I have to say I'm starting to get very disappointed.
