"I just pray that things get better for my family"

"I'm leaning into the wind," Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, told syndicated TV entertainment show "Access Hollywood" on Monday. "I'm trying to stay very, very positive. You know, I just pray that things get better for my family."
"As far as my son goes, we're going to be very happy when the truth really comes out of what really (happened), instead of all the speculation and all the mentality that's going on," Hogan, 54, said. "As far as my divorce goes, I love my family and I love my wife to death and I just don't know what tomorrow's going to bring." (more at link)

Nick's car was registered to him and his father, therefore his father is liable for any damages if sued.

Hence the divorce, what a sneaky way to get rid of those pesky assets.

Hmmmm! Never would have thought of that. Interesting.

He would be regardless of who the car was registered to because Nick is a minor.

For what it's worth, John Graziano has shown some signs of improvement:

John Graziano, the young Marine who was critically injured in an Aug. 26 car crash involving Hulk Hogan's son Nick, has shown small signs of improvement, his mother tells a Tampa TV station.

Graziano, 22, is now semiconscious and has opened his eyes...

.... He still cannot breathe without a machine and has not spoken since the accident.

God Bless this young man, his family and all his care givers.

The family of John Graziano, the man injured in Nick Hogan's August 2007 street racing crash, has filed suit against Hulk, Linda and Nick Hogan alleging they were negligent and are directly liable for the wreck that seriously injured the former Marine.

According to court papers filed today in Pinellas County, Fla. Circuit Court by Graziano's court-appointed guardian Peter Musante, Hulk and Linda (whose real names are Terry and Linda Bollea) should be held legally responsible for their son's accident.

I don't mean to sound like a negative person, but I mean...why didn't their family do this from the start? I recall that the mother of John wrote a pretty heartwarming letter how she had forgiven them and that they were working together to get through this.

Have the bills starting piling up enough that they need some monetary relief?

Paladin,
You don't sound negative at all. ;)
I think perhaps John's family was in shock when the accident first happened. Then as time progressed they probably realized the John will never ever be the same.
I don't blame John's family for suing the Hogan's. I definately understand why.

I believe this started when John's family realized the Hogan's turned every visit into their personal photo ops. Plus I think they were able to confirm that Terry purchased alcohol for the boys.

Was it mentioned anywhere they realized that, or is this just an inference based off of the reaction to those hospital visits on this message board?

I'm just thinking maybe the wife has moved on, but not the father.

I heard a blurb tonight on the news that there is a court date for Nick tomorrow. I was half-listening from another room, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. I'll look around.
