Hulk Hogan's son seriously injured another boy in car wreck

Hmm, I wonder if the other family will show up?

LOL, yeah me, I thought that was a cig in Nick's mouth but then I remembered what site I was at. ROFL Eww.

I'm embarrassed to admit, it's a guilty pleasure. Eww is right.

The family has a civil case against him too. However, the article says he will plead no contest. So who knows.....

Same here as far as the guilty pleasure goes. He's a tad immature, but it's fun to read sometimes!

I hope he pleads guilty and serves his time like he should. My brother picked up last night for a DWI. I'm pissed. :behindbar I thought he knew better, but his roommate told me today that he saw it coming. :furious:

  • #325
Oh boy, yeah me. Do you think this will change things for your brother (for the better)? I sure hope so. ((hugs))

  • #326
I hope so. My parents are at their wits end with him. Nobody is even trying to come up with bail. GOOD! That's the only way he will learn. He's 28 yrs old already, past time for him to grow up. The saddest part is, he has 3 children, but none live with him anymore.

He knew how mad I would be. He called his ex-wife and my hubby before calling me.

Oh wow, 3 children. :( Well, I hope this time it works for him. Maybe the judge will make him get help, although I guess he has to be ready for it.

I told my oldest dd (and I'll tell the rest when they start driving) that if they DARE drive drunk, I'm the last one they should call if they get pulled over/arrested. I am the first one to call if they want a ride home and don't want to drive or ride with someone that's been drinking, but don't call me once you are in jail.

I can only imagine what your parents must be going through. ((hugs))

Terry "Hulk" Hogan's 17-year-old son, Nick Bollea, entered a plea of "no contest" in a Florida courtroom Friday on charges of felony reckless driving.

SNIP
As part of the plea agreement, Bollea's attorneys asked that their client not serve more than one year in county jail and five years of probation.

SNIP
Prosecution and Family Speak
During the sentencing portion of the hearing, prosecutors presented, among other evidence, the statements of 12 witnesses who claimed Bollea was drag racing on wet roads at the time of the accident as well as records of his being ticketed for speeding in the past.

I'm not getting it.
He was drag racing and 12 eye witnesses saw him. His crash totalled his car and more importantly left a young veteran paralyzed. Why a plea deal???

:(:( :(:(:(

Ed Graziano, father of John Graziano, then made an emotional statement to the court: "John was my first born son, and the first chance to carry on my family name." Describing the day before the accident, he said John "was healthy, he was safe, and he was strong. He was a hero. He was a United States Marine. He was willing to put his life in harm’s way to protect his country’s freedom, [but] what Al Queda could not do to my son, Nick did to my son in minutes."

They visited the hospital many times, until the Graziano family bared them. I would bet there have been multiple apologies. OR, the family attorney advised him against it. You never know about the "behind the scenes" situation.

I think the plea deal was to spare the family from a trial and for him to accept responsibility rather than a "not guilty" plea.

Both kids in this situation made a horrible mistake that night. John got in the car, knowing they were racing and didn't use a seat belt. I'm not blaming the victim here, just pointing out some sense of accountability on both parts. I hope that didn't come across harsh to the Graziano family.

The Judge has just said that "it was not an accident." I agree!

I understand and that's exactly how I feel. John may very well be better off today if he was wearing a seatbelt, who knows but I so wish he had been. Of course Nick was driving and it was his responsibility to ensure his passenger was safe from harm by driving within the laws. Sober and not racing.

I think the Grazianos at first were in such a state of shock and I'm sure at the time believed Nick when he said he was sober and not racing. I think the anger set in when the truth started to come out, thus the lawsuit.

8 months starting now.

  • #335
does eight months mean eight months? Or is like in CA where it means four days?!

  • #336
What does it mean where it says, "Judge withholds adjudication." It's a term I'm not familiar with.

  • #337
Glad he got some jail time.

That's it...Too bad...He deserved more than 8 months. Did he also get probation and community service?

I'm ashamed to admit I had no idea.
Let me do some googling or ask JBean.

Here ya go:
