That pic shows the ones that are used in the CITY OF CHICAGO. But most of the suburban areas did not start out with that type of container. It was a progression of sorts. First you got a bin that was a bit bigger than one of those hand held baskets you use at the grocery store. Then villages progressed to this type of 'barrel' http://trashcansunlimited.com/library/BruteRecyclingContainer.jpg

only recently are towns going to the large containers like the ones in Chicago.

I have been trying to find a picture of what Bolingbrook gave to their residents. But I know that some places in order to get your new bin, you have to turn in the old one. Some places don't do that, they just drop a new bin in your drive.

Also, the one town I lived in the round barral type did NOT come with a lid. (but I guess one could find a different lid that would fit)

Also the darn things blow away, are discarded by people when their town changes containers, so if there was one found by the body it could really mean nothing. (I don't think that but it is another angle.)

Just got word that the autopsy on the body found in Chicago has been postponed until later today…it did not occur this morning as first planned

I suspect they have to wait till the body thaws out.

My parents use the square one for years in Chicago, had a round metal one before that.
Who knows what kind it is. I haven't seen a picture of the one close to the body yet...
Just have to play the waiting game.

Really? Interesting. I did read there a while back about someone selling items concerning stacy, but wasn't authorized too I believe. So they have now distanced themselves from their own site? I'm sure Cassandra is there at the medical examiners office with those dental records, they should have been able to confirm to her fairly quickly as to whether it's her or not.
ISP has the dental records and would be the ones to provide them to the ME's office...not Cassandra. They will call the family into either BPD or ISP if an identification is made and it is Stacy. Otherwise, they will probably phone Pam Bosco with the news it is not.

The family lost control of the website and had no choice but to distance themselves from people who were taking advantage of the situation. Since they were not involved in people making money or setting up other sites for funds to know where the money was going...it was for the best.

Okay, on the ethics issue, I just looked it up and found this blurb. It states something along the lines of what I was trying to say. If an attorney knows his client is guilty, he should not then introduce perjured testimony. Which, if I remember, includes pleading innocent. That of course is a problem for an attorney!

http://www.allacademic.com/meta/p94662_index.html

Knowing whether your client "did it" and knowing whether they are guilty are two different things. If your client did the deed, but was insane at the time, he is not guilty. Therefore, you can plead not guilty.

Introducing perjury is a separate matter. If you know your client is going to lie, you cannot put him on the stand. If you know that his mother is going to lie about where he was at the time of the deed, you can't put her on the stand either. But that applies whether he is guilty or not guilty.

Here is what Greta wrote this mornin on her site. I was mad that she said numerous times that this body they found was not Stacy on her show last nite and here is her explaination as to why she said that...................
http://gretawire.foxnews.com/
Last night it was thought that the woman whose body was found was Hispanic….this am sources are telling OTR Producer Cory Howard that they now think it is a white woman…this may explain why they flagged us off the story last night (meaning not suspect body is Stacy Peterson.).
Now the autopsy wil be done later today. The suspense is killing me.:bang: :banghead: MOO

Agreed...

Also if a recycling can was used, why wouldn't the witnesses say it was a blue recycling can instead of using the term barrel? could be that they did and that info has been kept vauge for a reason, could be that bolingbrook uses a different kind of recycling can or the barrel may not have been a recycling container at all. we just have to wait and see how this all plays out.

Another interesting thing I do remember from one suburb I lived in, The recycling containers were marked with numbers and the town had a master list of what container belonged to which house.

I checked over there and Casandra hasn't posted since the 19th and that was just an announcement about a vigil.

Last activity shows Today at 09:55:34 AM

Somebody posted that they have a friend that actually took the xrays and whatnot on this found body and stated it isn't Stacey. That means nothing to me at all because I'm sure anyone working on this case has been told, saying one word, you are fired!!!

And people pretty the responses to the poster said the same thing. There is nothing there that provides anything more than what we already know from here.

The waiting sucks but my husband is a police officer and said, they are not going to tell the press anything until they are ready. They have to be careful if it is Stacey that they get him in custody.

But then doesn't someone have to PROVE the attorney knew? I am willing to bet if that is the case, and JAB does know something, he is cocky enough to think that nobody would ever be able to prove he knew before hand.

Learned a long time ago, in less you get hear it straight from the horses mouth (news conference/statement by Le) don't take it as the truth.

One more thing that I find suspect is how this autopsy was moved from the a.m. to the p.m. was it to thaw? or was it to pacify the media until this afternoon to back up some?

:waitasec:

I'm going on the record, (sorry Greta don't sue for copy right infringement) I think the body still could be Stacy's. Too hush hush.

Sedonda and SS, spoken like true websleuthers, ain't no site better than this one :woohoo: I agree. Very sad about the website for Stacy, I hadn't realized the family was forced out, I haven't been over there but a few short times, I did register, never posted cuz I had nothing to offer other than

Lock Drew up!

Why won't LE just tell us it isn't stacy then? They have the dental records, it doesn't take more than an hour to look at the two and compare them. I know DNA wouldn't be back this soon.

Littledeer, can't find my sticking out tongue smiley on the right.

Sedona, I'm sure they needed to let the body thaw, think of taking out a big frozen chicken or hamburger meat, how long it takes to thaw out in order to work with it.

There could be two reasons for moving the time for the autopsy IMO:

1) Saturday IMO is not a usual work day for the coroner's office. Maybe, people who are needed during the autopsy are not available this morning, but are this afternoon?

2.) To mislead any interested person or persons who might know who this person is.

 • #319
Maybe they need to use numbers to start tracking blue containers in and around the Chicago area!! Make people register those so if your spouse turns up dead in one...LE can find you quickly!!

You are brilliant!
