UPDATE Pinellas County, Tampa Bay
Still 9 hours before the worst of IRMA arrives here.
Strong wind gusts breaking tree branches and palm fronds.
Steady light rain.
Birds are still savoring striped sunflower seeds at bird feeder. Primarily cardinals, tweeting loudly.
Dog is mesmerized watching out the back patio door which has a CRIMSAFE screen that is tested to withstand winds up to 200 MPH. Hope so!
I have family near Tampa and they said they'd let me know how everything goes. I talked My aunt around noon and she said the storm should be past them by noon tomorrow. Her daughter who lives in West Palm is currently without power.

The difference between 110 mph and 130 mph is not noticable to a person standing in it. I'm relieved that it is weakening but my guard is still high because of the serious surge issues that still exist on both sides of the state.Dang thing looks like it may cross the state.
