The people who raised me i heard from.there family members that they tried to get rid of me in Mexico when I was 3 then opted out for giving me up in california instead

When/if LEis not placing importance on your possible connection or not getting back to you for whatever reason, you need to be proactive . DNA is science, and you need to get your DNA into Ancestry and start looking for relatives there.

My original suggestion to jusslikeme remains the same ... they need to register with one of the ancestry sites, i.e. AncestryDNA or 23andMe. Even if everyone in the obituary is deceased, surely one or more of them have offspring / relatives and that is how matches are made through DNA.
