Thanks for posting that update. I was actually surprised they ruled he was guilty of first degree murder. It could have been spur of the moment. The wording in that article makes me wonder if the defense is no longer directly denying that he killled them.

This case made me so sad.

Linn County Chief District Judge Lars G. Anderson on Friday handed down three life sentences without the possibility for parole to Alexander Ken Jackson for fatally shooting his father Jan Jackson, 61; mother Melissa Jackson, 68; and sister Sabrina Jackson, 19, court recordsreviewed by Law&Crime show. Judge Anderson ordered each of the life sentences to be served consecutively.
