IA IA - Amir, 1, Nehemiah, 2, & Nathaneal Grant, 3, Cedar Rapids, 4 Oct 2017

Ok, mis-remembering on my part. The interesting details I was remembering are NOT for this case, but a similar one which mentions the mother:

I'm also fairly local and the other 3 children missing with the mother are also who I was thinking of. And the part of Iowa I'm from has been cool, windy, and heavy rain so I pray these children are warm and safe somewhere. I would almost think an adult has to be involved or we would hear more about children that young being missing by their selves!

There seems to be no sense of urgency here at all!

the most recent updates are from 10/06:

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Cedar Rapids Police have issued an Operation Quickfind for three boys last seen about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 4 at 3151 6th Street SW.

Police said they do not believe the boys were abducted nor do they believe they are in any danger.

2-year-old Nehemiah Grant is 2 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray and red jacket, and black shoes.

1-year-old Amir Grant is 2 feet tall and weighs 26 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue Mickey Mouse long sleeve shirt, and blue and white shoes.

3-year-old Nathanael Grant is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, but was not wearing shoes.

If you know where these 3 boys are, you should contact Cedar Rapids Police at (319) 286-5491.

Why do they say they don't believe abducted or in any danger---yet they don't say they are believed to be with Mom or Grandma or anything like that either?

I am not seeing any updates. I hope these babes have been found safe...

Still missing??

This is really odd. An adult has to be involved because a one year old cannot walk well enough to take off with his siblings.

These children are so young they probably have no idea of how to cross a street. So I doubt they ran out of the house or apartment by themselves.

Here is a link to the local news station's post reporting these children missing. They have not provided an update. Maybe with enough comments they would be compelled to issue an update.

That article is about three different children: Christopher Stephenson, Amiya Stegall and Douglas "DJ" Stegall were found. Names and ages don't match title of this thread.
