GUILTY IA - Amy Mullis , 39, Earlville, killed with corn rake, 10 Nov 2018 *Arrest*

Is it totally implausible that she fell, pulled the rake out (stuck by two tines initially) stood up, lost more blood and then collapsed back onto the rake?

I know it is far fetched but is it possible?

How far was the pet cage from where she was found?

Sounds plausible to me and not far fetched at all.

Wasn't the pet carrier still on the shelf?

Per carrier never moved.
According to Todd, he thought rake was inside door to the right.
Path to pet carrier was to the left.
He came behind her as she went inside shed. Grabbed rake, stabbed her, she yanked and he pulled it out, then stabbed her again.

I don't hear it.
I have my sony TV's sound system set on "clear voice". I hear it loud and clear. Before any suggestion. Loud and clear.
"Cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬"
"Go to hell cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬"

Something just popped-up in my mind when the prosecutor was asking Todd about the internet searches.

Did the son do the searches and he killed his mother???? He knew about his mother's infidelities and was mad, so he did the searches? Hmmm.

He didn't go to the get the drink. Instead he went to the shed and killed his mother because he was very angry at her?

I don't remember how they cleared the son of the murder.

Crazy thoughts...

Todd still sounds innocent to me. He's still very calm. Oh, I don't know.:(

Not crazy thoughts at all! I have wondered the same thing!!

I was thinking about this again.

She would have fell on her back if it happened that way and found that way by the son/Todd, I think.
Wasn't she face down when she was found with the corn rake sticking out of her back?

But, maybe she tried to stand and fell face forward with the rake in her back?

WATCH: Todd Mullis Trial - 911 Call Excerpts - What do You Hear? #ToddMullis

YES. I hear his whispers. "Cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬". Then, "Go to hell, cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬".
I was thinking about this again.

I'm going to say a big NO.
Rake was immediately on the inside of the door to the right - according to Todd's testimony. She was several feet away from the red shed entrance door. She was found too far from entrance door to accidentally step or fall on rake. She would have tried to get out of shed, not further into the shed.

I have listened over and over, and it’s hard to hear what he whispered. I still can’t make out what he said between gasps. The audio is bad! Because the prosecutor suggested he said “go to Hell” and “cheating 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬” - that’s what I’m trying to hear, but I still can’t be sure of what was said! Reminds of when I was a kid when someone would play The Beatles records backwards and suggest they were talking about devil worshipping! I just don’t hear it!

I don't think it matters what is said, I think it was an excuse for the prosecution to play the 911 call in front of him to show his utter lack of emotion. It proved his guilt beyond any reasonable doubt. Moo.

Definitely lack of emotion, but that doesn’t mean he’s guilty. People respond differently in situations. I feel he’s guilty — either he killed her or the son did it. I predict a hung jury. Wish the prosecution could have had a more solid case. At this point I still have questions - did Todd do it, or the son?

I'm leaning more that he is guilty (or his son).

He appears to be a simple man/hard-working farmer, who forgave his wife her infidelities, and believed her lover when he said that he wasn't having an affair with his wife. He doesn't seem to be a very deep thinker, a talker, or one who wears his heart on his sleeve. A "simple" man.

Psychopath? Sociopath? I don't know. Just a man at the end of his patience with his wife, who had enough?

But maybe his real feelings were buried deep inside of him and when he saw an opportunity to kill her, he did. Very simply and cleanly done.

Hung jury.

@ashleyrenesc The state said that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence from witness testimony that proves that Amy Mullis was afraid of her husband #MullisTrial

@ashleyrenesc The says that there is no one else who would have a motive to kill Amy Mullis. And that there was no one else on the farm that day #MullisTrial
